The U.S. Special Presidential Envoy for Ukraine, General Keith... Kellogg Keith Kellogg, is in Kyiv today. I am grateful for a constructive meeting. We discussed various vectors of cooperation – how to achieve real peace and guarantee Ukraine’s security. These include projects within the PURL initiative for financing production and procurement of Patriot systems, strong bilateral agreements on co-production of drones and weapons that we have proposed to America. We count on a positive response from the United States. We had a substantive discussion on stepping up pressure on the Russians and what we can do together with partners in tariff and sanctions policy to enable a meeting at the leaders’ level at the earliest and bring this war to an end. A trilateral leaders’ format is undoubtedly the most effective. We also discussed the return of abducted Ukrainian children, international cooperation on this track, and the conditions in which our children are being held. I expressed condolences to the American people over the horrific murder of Charlie Kirk and thanked President Trump for his condolences and response to the brutal murder of Ukrainian citizen Iryna Zarutska in North Carolina. It is important that justice prevail every time violence seeks to take hold. We are also preparing for the 80th session of the UN General Assembly in New York. We discussed planned events, coordination between Ukraine and the U.S., and work within the Coalition of the Willing. We are working on potential meetings and various formats.show more

I met with Prime Minister of Bulgaria Rumen Radev.... Thank you for the substantive talks. We discussed in detail the development of our cooperation and energy security, including at the regional level. We also addressed preparations for consultations between Ukraine and Bulgaria aimed at developing joint projects. I invited Bulgaria to begin work on a special agreement in the Drone Deal format. We agreed to task our teams with following up on all the issues discussed and preparing a number of bilateral documents.show more

In a session on the Middle East with regional... partners. First, we need to ensure the full restoration of freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, without restrictions. Second, the events in the Strait have highlighted vulnerabilities that we need to adress. We should work together to alternative supply routes and new corridors, such as the IMEC. With better connectivity, we can transform vulnerabilities into opportunities. We also discussed Lebanon. Because a stable and peaceful Middle East requires a stable and peaceful Lebanon.show more

On my way to Ukraine, I met with Ireland’s... Taoiseach Simon Harris TD. We discussed support for Ukraine and continued cooperation in demining and cybersecurity. We also talked about the next steps to implement the decisions based on the outcomes of the Peace Summit and discussed the efforts needed to increase global attention to the issue of children illegally deported by Russia. We need a long-term ceasefire, reliable security, and lasting peace. We are also ready for the next round of trilateral meetings. We also discussed the Ukraine Recovery Conference, work on good-neighborly relations in the region, and contacts with partners. I am grateful to Poland for its support of Ukraine’s European integration. We hope for the opening of negotiation clusters for EU accession in the near future.show more

I met with President of France Emmanuel Macron. We... discussed strengthening Ukraine’s air defense, the escalation by Russia against European countries, and the cases of detected drones in Poland, Romania, and Denmark, as well as fighter jets in Estonia. A swift response and action are needed. We also focused on the use of frozen Russian assets for the benefit of Ukraine and on further tightening sanctions against Russia, in particular regarding its shadow tanker fleet. Today, I met for the first time with Hereditary... Prince Alois of Liechtenstein. We discussed the continuation of humanitarian assistance to Ukraine. I am grateful for all the support provided to our country. We also discussed the threats posed by Russia, in particular its violations of NATO countries’ airspace, and the importance of pressure on the Russian Federation to end the war and prevent its aggression from spreading to other European countries. The Prince praised the courage of Ukrainians and said important words: Ukraine is defending not only itself, but all of Europe. We value such solidarity with our people.show more

Today in Brussels, I met with Prime Minister of... Finland Petteri Orpo. I thanked him for the recently announced 30th defense package worth €52 million and for Finland’s accession to the PURL initiative with a contribution of €100 million. This is real support for our defense. We also discussed cooperation within the SAFE instrument for the procurement of long-range missiles, drones, and artillery ammunition. Special attention was given to the Russian attacks on our energy infrastructure. I informed the Prime Minister about the strikes, and we discussed the restoration of relevant facilities and contributions to the Ukraine Energy Support Fund. We also discussed the steps necessary for Ukraine’s EU accession and the joint actions of all European partners. I also informed the Prime Minister about the trilateral meetings in Geneva and preparations for the next negotiations. I had a good meeting with the Prime Minister... of Denmark, Mette Frederiksen Statsministeriet. We discussed the continuation of military support and direct investments in Ukraine’s defense industry. Denmark is one of the leaders in supporting our state and is preparing the 26th package of military aid for Ukraine. This support helps save lives, and we deeply appreciate it. We also talked about the negotiations in Istanbul and the coordination of diplomatic efforts with the U.S. and European partners. We share the view that pressure on Russia is crucial if they refuse to agree to a ceasefire. In July this year, Denmark will begin its Presidency of the EU Council. We are counting on their support for Ukraine’s European integration, which we discussed during the meeting.
