We don't know the specifics regarding Kris Boyd being... shot. Boyd currently plays for the Jets; formerly played for the Houston Texans. Huge football fan here. Certainly praying Boyd survives and can go back to playing football at some point. Boyd was shot in the abdomen at 2 AM in the Garment District in New York. They call it the witching hour, and nothing good happens in the witching hour. I posted this video about Boyd last year right after it happened. My take was that no player should ever disrespect a coach. Of course holding off any opinion on this shooting until the facts come out, but I have to say, this situation came to mind. #KrisBoyd #Jets #Texansshow more

Update: Kris Boyd It was a brawl that ended... in a shooting. It just isn't worth it to disagree because people don't discuss...they shoot. Boyd remains in good condition according to his friend after being shot last night in Hells Kitchen after 2 AM. Jets Jamien Sherwood and Irvin Charles were with Boyd at Sei Less Asian Fusion. This is going to take some time for the New York Police Department to sort out, if folks cooperate. #KrisBoyd #Newyork #Jetsshow more

Back in 2025, Giannis hung out with some media... and Heat staffers after the Bucks/Heat post game interviews in the away Locker Room to watch the rest of the Duke-Houston Final Four matchup. He missed the first team bus and then the second one to watch it. He was the last Bucks player in the Locker Room. The rest of the team? Well…..it was a Saturday night in Miami. Giannis really loves basketball. Now that he’s on the Heat, he’s in the perfect situation. This was one of my favorite moments covering the Heat over the past few seasons. I posted this on my IG last year. (Second image is a screen shot from a video)show more

🚨 Ajinkya Rahane revealed the story behind his decision... to send Yashasvi Jaiswal off the field. 🗣️ " I sensed the situation and also I felt it was going out of hand, both the players were going out of hand and it was my responsibility to control my teammates. You respect the umpires, the officials who are on field, who are controlling the game, who are officiating the game and also the situations. Mistakes can happen to anyone, but you, as a player, you be in that limit. So, I sensed the situation, what can happen next, it was my instant reaction to send him off the field. As a player, I also felt that he must have felt bad, I said, okay, if he felt bad about me, it's okay. But I think, that point in time, it was a good thing for him. The thing which I told him about, go in from the back, put ice on your head and come back "show more

Officially moving on from Tech game after I get... this thought off my chest. I more than welcome anyone smarter than me in regards to the football to chime in. I truly, truly, truly cannot wrap my head around the thought process here. These two plays I'm sure anyone with brain can agree officially sealed KU's slim chances in having a chance to win this game. The play calling to me seems like completely flipped in logic at best? First one, you are down 4, on your own 30 so you are not going to go for this. Ignoring that we were getting dominated in the trenches in this game and that the 'obvious' play is a run, I don't get why we make the decision in a must get spot to take the ball out of our QB's (who at the time was rolling) hands. Jalon Daniels is our best player. In an absolute must get/need, we should be relying on him to make a play. Then the second one. I obviously don't know the answer here, but I feel somewhat confident that the reason we didn't run here was because of how the earlier 3rd & 1 run went. While I don't necessarily agree with the premise of decision making on this alone, I can appreciate the recognition that we are going to struggle to gain a yard in an obvious run situation. But the thing is, we are in go for it range so the one thing you absolutely cannot have is a massive negative play. Literally anything else is okay (obviously not a turnover). I truly don't think there's a good chance we run the ball on this attempt and get a yard. But THIS situation gives you a free shot at it if you want to take it. I think this play call would have worked if we didn't let their best player run at our qb freely but I'd just argue this play had a ton of potential risk that wasn't necessary. Hell even a play action pass out of out shot gun or something rolling JD out to the left would have given us a good shot at first down with an escape route to bail out on the play if something went wrong. I'm once again for the millionth time saying I know and understand that this entire staff knows more about football in their pinky than I do. But I do think the game has evolved and game + clock management doesn't really require football knowledge/have a direct correlation to one's football knowledge. It's not as simple as ESPN's graphic says GO so you should go etc, there are variables and human behavior etc to deal with and I understand that. But we are just getting these situations downright wrong. We are flipping a coin that has a 20 pound weight attached to the heads side and calling tails almost every single time. S/O anyone who read all this but would just love some insight if there's anyone who disagrees and is a lot smarter than I!show more

Today, I completed my last chemotherapy treatment and am... blessed to say that I have conquered cancer. The Lord has helped me through this difficult time and we have come out on the other side victorious. This has definitely been the hardest journey I have had to take in my entire life. Going into this, I had doubts, fear, and was really anxious on how this would affect me mentally and physically. But, fear is a choice, and I chose not to fear Cancer. Throughout the tough treatments, the times where I had no optimism, and the numerous amount of bumps in the road, God’s love for me never failed. I cannot thank the doctors and nurses at Texas Children’s and MD Anderson enough for their immense amount of help. Also, if it werent for the numerous amount of prayers, support from friends and family, and encouragement, I wouldn’t be in the situation I am now in. It feels great to say now that I HAVE BEAT THE HELL OUT OF CANCER💪 #BTHOCancershow more

2020 COLLECTION: 5 YEARS LATER - DAY3 OOF. at... this point it was pretty clear Duncan and Griffin at NiftyGateway that one person was winning every single auction. There were still 10 more to go on this Sunday... At the very last second of the final auction, a extremely last second bid cam in taking the total from about $350k to $777k, destroying the record for the most expensive NFT ever bought. you can see the disbelief in the video as we were sure the auction was over. but our boi tim.eth ⁙ illestrater came through at the last second clinching single W against the insane performance that Metakovan had built over the last two days winning every other auction. i was fully a pile of mush at this point, trying to wrap my head around how I had just sold $3.5M worth of this 'thing' that almost nobody I knew understood and I had only learned of less than 2 months earlier. but the real people who made this event possible are Metakovan and tim.eth ⁙ illestrater and i really don't think they get enough credit for the insane belief and conviction this took. their actions over this weekend literally changed the course of art history. little did i know that as fucking INSANE as this was... it was actually just the beginning. 😅show more

🚨 Khusanov on why he reportedly refused to sign... a Real Madrid shirt while already playing for Manchester City 🩵👀 I have a lot of respect for Real Madrid. They are one of the biggest clubs in football, and I respect their history and everything they have achieved. But I am a Manchester City player. When you wear this shirt, you represent the club, the fans, and your teammates. My focus is here, and my loyalty is to the badge I am wearing. For me, it was simple. I didn’t want to create any unnecessary headlines or give people the wrong impression. I am proud to be a City player, and I want to build my own story here. Football is about respect, but it is also about knowing where you belong. 🩵🔥 Khusanov said NO to the Madrid shirt. ❌🤍 Take notes, Rodri. 👀😭show more

On the day that the Cincinnati Bengals announce their... blockbuster deal with Ja’Marr Chase, I got a story … In 2021, Chase hit a rough patch in camp with drops. It was a big story at the time, the kind that blow up in the summer. Anyway, I came thru for an early August practice, and hung out with coaches on the field for about a half-hour after the session ended. I turned around, and there was Ja’MarrChase, out there on the Juggs, having kept one teammate behind to help him. Five minutes later, he was by himself, with an equipment man shooting the balls at him. At the end of my camp trip, I showed my football-obsessed first-grader (now a fourth-grader) how this player picked fifth overall was responding in the face of adversity early in his career. Almost all the rest of the players and coaches were inside. It wasn’t a show. It was a guy consumed with being the best. Which is why I think the Bengals will sleep well writing him those checks.show more

🚨 Francisco conceicao on Ronaldo not passing the ball... to him on Portugal 2-1 win over chile: 🗣️ “I felt I was in a much better position to take the shot and score but Ronaldo didn’t pass the ball Sometimes in football moments like that are what decided games We had opportunities in transition where the right decision could have changed everything, but it didn’t happen in that moment. We ended up going 1 man down and having to fight to take something out of the game but at the World Cup we need to work as a team to achieve our goal At this level, small details matter a lot. One pass, one decision, one second can completely change the direction of a match. We have the quality in this team, but we need more understanding in those situations, especially in the final third. If we want to go far in the World Cup, we cannot rely on individual moments we must move as one unit and make the best choice for the team every time.” {talkSPORT }show more

Watch the difference in the practice swings and the... shot. See the head dip & knee buckle? Have seen this from Lexi before. Can’t remember which major it was, but it was last season in the closing stages of the final round and tight lies. It’s a classic move from those who have anxiety with their pitching and are trying to help the ball in the air. I know it well. I had the chipping / pitching yips for a few years and was a complete mess. Head moving down & leaning back to the right shifts the low point of the club to an earlier spot. Club hits the ground too early. When you look at great pitchers they are usually shifting a little left, and slightly extending up after impact. Not dipping down and back. Imagine standing side on to the target and tossing to the landing spot with your trail arm. The dip down and knee buckle is completely at odds with how you would move. I am confident an expert short game coach could really help her with this. I reckon she is in the horrors mentally standing over these shots. No disrespect to Lexi, she’s obviously a great player. Yes, I’m just an armchair fan sitting on my couch 😎.show more

Norris reveals what he was thinking during the last... two laps in Abu Dhabi: "I just started thinking of my first day in a go-kart. I was on this kind of mini tennis court, and we put some slicks on the go-kart, and I was just doing some doughnuts and just having some fun" "And slowly around the lap, I kind of pictured the years that followed: stepping up into the proper racing to going on to race in Europe, the World Championships 2014, Formula 4, Ginetta, New Zealand, Jerez, F3, F2 " "And that's how my last two laps pretty much went, until we go under the hotel. All of a sudden, I pictured my mum in the garage. That was the first time, the first moment the whole year, I just about started to realise what was happening, what was about to happen" "And all I did was picture the garage. Picture my parents there, my brother, my sisters, all in the garage for the final four corners, and I came around the last corner, and again, then that next step of emotion starts to kick in — and realisation — of what's happened" "The last 18 years all led to this one moment"show more
