When Halo 5 first launched I didn't like the... Thrust Evade ability. As I played more, I realized that it created more depth in close quarter encounters. One example, in previous games close range Energy Sword encounters would be a sure kill for the sword user; whereas in Halo 5 you could time it, evade the lunge, and flip the odds in your favor.show more

It will be interesting to see how the Activision... team approaches weapon design and lethality in the next Halo. I think it's important to not only stay true to a weapon's aesthetic but also its historic performance. For example, Halo 5 did a great job at capturing both aesthetics and performance for the Halo 2 BR55. Hoping the next team takes some significant time to understand what makes Halo gunplay unique and awesome.show more

Of all the weapons in Halo Campaign Evolved, the... Spiker is probably my favorite one. Visually it's a cool improvement over previous versions. Still wish I could dual wield this lol but it clearly works great by itself! #Haloshow more

Funny story in 2019 I bought a 1st edition... Near mint Dragonite from Fossil for $45 and the guy threw in a mint Latias and Latios GX as a surprise gift. It was like a $3-5 card at the time and I didn't think anything of it. Pretty sure it has a strong chance at a 10show more

This Halo Campaign Evolved clip shows that Brutes will... go berserk and leave combat to attack enemy AI when you destroy the glowing device on their armor. Halo fans on Reddit said “the enemy seems clueless” and “I think this behavior would be amazing in encounters where the brute isn't aware of you yet, getting him to think its his friend attacking him. But turning away from an active fight to go punch a random ally in the face? Nah this ain't it.” What are your thoughts? #HaloCampaignEvolvedshow more

Another view of the Sword of Six Sages (And... some reference in case you hadnt recognized it yet) This is my attempt at taking the design and making it into a wieldable and, construction-wise feasible sword. Surprisingly I didn't even need to change that much for it to, imho, workshow more

When I first joined Rayadas I didnt know what... it will mean for me as a player! I knew it would be a place I could compete for titles, but I never knew how the passion for this institution would change me as a player. Over the years I learned what it meant to put on this jersey! The people in this city and my team taught me. I feel exactly what the people feel! The love and passion is indescribable, and when you step onto that field you feel it. The people in the stadium make you feel it, and it’s honestly one of the best feelings in this world! That’s why we fight until the very end, because we have a responsibility to represent everything this institution stands for!🙏🏾 #creersiemprecreershow more

For the facial animations in my game, I use... a technique that yields results similar to L.A. Noire. To keep it simple: I first generate a facial animation video using AI like LTX 2. Then, I create a video depth map from that animation and project it onto a face mask. Using vertex displacement, the depth map dynamically deforms the face as the character speaks. The result looks good in standalone VR. I actually created this workflow long time ago:show more

Did you notice that there is no "Work in... Progress" watermark in the latest Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced gameplay videos? There could be a chance that this is the final build of the game, or very close to it. So the GOLD announcement could be just around the corner. They mentioned it in the article, but it should have been written on the videos as well, like in all the previous Resynced videos. This is the first time there has been no watermark.show more

Entrepreneurship is a luxury. When I dropped out of... college and asked my parents for that one chance, I genuinely felt this might be the only opportunity I would ever get to do something meaningful. If I wasted it, I couldn’t blame anyone else. That mindset changes how you work. You stop treating it like an experiment. You treat it like responsibility. In India, we don’t just need more startups. We need founders who understand the privilege of building. If you get the chance, approach it like it’s once in a lifetime.show more

These drawdowns are not comparable to 2023, as you... can see in the video. It ran well up to here, but there is no time left to be bearish. I was never a bear, by the way. I trade the market I see and nothing else. Every dip is a gift for our future! This week is decision time.. make it or break it ⌛️ Into tonight’s daily close, and at the latest Friday night into the daily close, I had $81,400–$80,000 in mind. The zone between $82,800 and $83,800 is holding so firmly that it is not worth sitting on it and stubbornly waiting for lower prices. I expect a bullish crossover by Monday, October 5, so there is not much time left to be bearish either. I have already built a long between $82,800 and $83,800. If the pattern plays out, a pump towards $87,000/$89,000 is to be expected, followed by a dump. The dump could and this cannot be ruled out, reach the $75,000 level, though I would not bet on it. Should Bitcoin fall, I expect the range between $78,000 and $80,000 to hold. bitcoin:nativeshow more

Midjourney sref + Sora 2 Pro is the sauce.... With one Midjourney style image, you can give a specific style for your entire project. I created two different 12-second clips and edited them together. Some details aren’t fully consistent, like the iPod or AirPods because the clips were made separately from a single image (Character in a specific style). It could be fixed in post-production, but that would take more time, and this was more of an experimental test. It would be great to add the actual product image with the current one to maintain product consistency. I feel like if there were a way to add 2–4 images into this workflow, it could open up a lot more possibilities and consistency. With an API, it could be possible. Or let’s see what Veo 3.1 has to offer.show more

I swear one of the clearest signs that critical... thinking skills are disappearing can be found in the comment section of any recipe. I watched a woman yesterday making one of those dump-and-go crockpot meals. She chopped up ONE onion and put it in. You would have thought she’d dumped motor oil in the crockpot. “I hate onions!” “Why would you put onions in that?” “I can’t stand onions!” Okay. Nobody cares that you hate onions. Don’t put the damn onion in. The same thing happens with salads. Somebody posts what they put in theirs and here come the complaints. “I don’t like avocado.” Fine. Don’t use avocado. “I hate tomatoes.” Then leave the tomatoes out. Nobody is standing in your kitchen forcing you to put them in the bowl. When did we lose the ability to look at a recipe and think, “That sounds good, except I’ll leave out the stuff I don’t like”? A recipe isn’t a court order. It’s a suggestion. Use a little critical thinking and make the food the way YOU like it.show more
