When Newfoundland joining Canada happened, it passed with just... 52%. That was enough to bring Newfoundland into Canada. So let’s be honest about what that means. If 52% is enough to join, then 52% is enough to leave. That’s already the precedent, and everybody understands what a clear majority is. If 52% of Albertans vote to leave and we’re told we’re “not allowed,” then what does that actually say about the system? At that point, the decision has already been made by the people. Because if independence is the end goal, you don’t ask permission forever. You get the mandate first. Until there’s a vote, nothing changes. But once there is, everything does.show more

Today is Kayoko's birthday! She does not talk much,... and she tends to act as if she already knows everything before it even needs to be said. It is not that she has no emotions — she simply has no particular interest in letting them show, and at some point, the teacher has probably come to understand that. She does not mind being misunderstood, moves when she needs to, says what she has to say in as few words as possible, and considers that enough. When the teacher reaches out to her first, she does not push them away, but she does not exactly welcome them either — and somehow, that careful, precise distance she keeps is the part that tends to stay with you. Maybe today is a good day to close that distance, just a little. #BlueArchiveshow more

This airline passenger filmed this guy sitting in front... of them. The guy in front keeps slamming his chair back even though it is already reclined. Eventually the guy with the knees does push back but why does this even happen? What is that guy in front doing? Many said they think that airlines shouldn’t even have reclining seats unless you are in first class because there isn’t enough room. Others said they will ask the person behind them if it is okay to recline their seat. What would you do if someone was doing this in front of you? Has this ever happened to you? And, do you think it’s okay for people to just recline or should they warn the people behind them first? And do you agree and think they should get rid of reclining seats all together?show more

Nic is actually one of those people that looked... perfect on the show but the more you keep up after, the more things just start… not adding up. It’s like everything he does has a layer of performance to it. The “good guy” image is a bit too polished, the way he moves is very calculated, and you can tell he’s very aware of how he wants to be perceived at all times. That kind of thing always cracks eventually. With Olandria I must laugh cause she’s blinded by her delusions, it’s nice on the surface, but if you’ve been paying attention, there are little moments that feel off. Not enough for people to clock immediately, but enough to make you side-eye. And that’s usually how it starts small inconsistencies before the real slip. I don’t think he’s as genuine as people want him to be, and honestly, it’s only a matter of time before something happens that people can’t defend or spin. When it does, I’m not even going to argue with anyone. I’ll just be here, because some of us already saw it coming. #LoveIslandUSA #olandria #NicholasVansteenbergheshow more

They started with 50. Now they say they’re 18,000... In 1996 there were fewer than 50 of them. Today, according to the organizers, up to 18,000 walked through Copenhagen. From Dronning Louises Bro to the Imam Ali Mosque. Look at the curve. This is how it happens. First a handful. Then a few hundred. Then it fills a bridge, a district, a capital. A little at a time, until it is no longer a little. And let me be fair, because fairness is the point. There is nothing strange about them holding this mourning procession. They have done it as part of their faith for more than a thousand years. It is theirs, and they believe in it. There is nothing strange about that at all. What should stop us is the other half. There is nothing strange about Europe allowing it either, and that is exactly the problem. Europe allows it because Europe has forgotten who it is. A people that remembers what it stands for does not need to ban anything, it simply knows where its own line runs. We have lost that. And so the issue was never them. The issue is us. Now look at what actually moved through the streets. Men in front. Women in the second row. That is not a detail, that is the whole point. It is a view of women set into a system and marched out into the public square, in a city where generations fought for women and men to stand as equals. The real question is not whether people may believe what they want. They may. The question is why our capital should cultivate a political law-religion that commemorates a 7th-century power struggle by dividing people by sex on Nørrebrogade. One of the organizers is the Imam Ali Mosque, repeatedly described as the Iranian regime’s extended arm in Denmark. The same regime that hangs women and young men from cranes. We are not importing culture. We are importing a system. And we let it grow, not because they are strong, but because we forgot why we were. First a little. Then a lot. Then too late.show more

Let’s be clear: size doesn’t matter, your approach and... the way you speak do. You can’t walk up to someone and say, “Look at this small boy” then turn around and claim people are projecting onto you. No, you’re projecting onto yourself. When you were assistant Head of House, your words were “We’re in power, they’re going to hear from me”. You were keen on housemates adhering to the rules you set! But when it’s time to show others respect, suddenly that energy disappears. Respect is reciprocal. If you can’t live with ‘small boys’, then maybe you should pack your bags and leave. Because in Big Mama’s house, everyone is equal, which means you too are a small boy. You created that perception yourself the moment you said, “Look at this small boy.”Because if you’re calling someone else small, then clearly you’re trying to make yourself the big boy, and if that’s based on body size or ego, then that’s your own insecurity speaking. So please, enough with the hypocrisy. Own your words, own your attitude, and stop acting shocked when people call it exactly what it is.show more

Jeff Bezos just described the era you are living... in. It sounds nothing like what you have been told. Bezos: “The world is so interesting right now. We’re in multiple golden ages at once.” Not one golden age. Multiple. Simultaneous. Overlapping. Bezos: “I think there’s never been a more extraordinary moment to be alive.” He was not being poetic. He was being literal. For the entire history of civilization, humanity got one revolution at a time. Fire. The wheel. The printing press. Electricity. The transistor. One breakthrough. Then centuries of silence before the next. That pattern just shattered. Artificial intelligence. Space access. Gene editing. Energy storage. Quantum computing. Five revolutions running inside the same decade. That has never happened before. Not once in ten thousand years of recorded progress. And the story being sold to you every single day is that everything is falling apart. That the future is something to survive. That the best days are behind you. The people closest to the actual technology do not believe a single word of it. They are not debating whether the world is ending. They are too busy building the next one. Fear is the most profitable product on Earth. It moves faster than any breakthrough ever will. The greatest concentration of technological revolutions in human history is unfolding right now. Most of the world is too busy arguing about which version of collapse to believe in to notice. Bezos did not say a golden age might be approaching. He said you are already standing inside several of them. The gap between that statement and what you currently believe about the world is the most expensive blind spot of your lifetime. You were not born at the end of anything. You were born at the exact point where the entire curve bends upward. That does not happen twice.show more

🇨🇳 BAD NEWS FOR DEMOCRATS! - It seems that... Independent voters hate socialism! Why does that matter? Well, 52% of Democrats have a favorable view of socialism while only 17% of Independents do. And get this: amongst 18 - 34 year olds, Socialism is +18! The problem is the 18 to 34 year olds don't tend to vote in midterms and may sit this one out if the DNC pushes their candidates aside! The takeaway here is that if Democrats go hard into socialism, they're going to lose the Independent vote and without independents Democrats can't win. See you in November! Thoughts? ⬇️show more

History has taught you have to choose between 1st... World colonization or 3rd World immigration Your Will is either carved into reality or another’s Will is enacted upon you Life itself is a grand struggle between the conquered and the conquerer O but how forgetful is the mind of man in the days of his comfort Only until his land is overrun and his Race is all but gone does he realize this peace was a myth That surely there was war in his midst and he knew it not A bad steward always loses his inheritance and if he does not claim it… it is taken by another The question every man must as himself: Should I rule or be a subject? God will not judge your choice to be one or the other … but rather how you ruled or how you rendered to Caesar what rightfully belonged to him Humility isn’t defined as giving what is yours but in recognizing the power is yours to wield That the cost of doing nothing is greater than the cost of perhaps doing the wrong thing What will history say about you? Colin Albert’s lawyer’s statement about not knowing where Colin... is going to basic training seemed like bullshit, because before I left for the Army, I knew exactly where I was going for basic. However… Before you join the Army you have to take an ASVAB, the military’s intelligence test. It’s a test that someone with a 9th grade education can pass. It’s a test that determines what MOS (jobs) you are intelligent enough to qualify for. You can’t pick your job without a passing it, and if you don’t have a job, you don’t know where you are going for basic. Basically by telling everyone that Colin has a three week prep course AND doesn’t know where he is going to basic, he is saying that while Colin may have been smart enough to be accepted to Bridgewater State University, Colin is not smart enough to be a private in the Army. When I joined there was a guy with me that was going to be a Laundry Technician, which I thought was made up. I asked why he picked that. It was because it was the only thing he could get based on his low ASVAB score. That means Colin is so stupid that he isn’t even qualified to be a 92S - Shower, Laundry, and Clothing Repair Specialist.show more

Blake Lively’s Met Gala Moment Was Deeply Tone-Deaf Blake... Lively showing up at the Met Gala this year, smiling like nothing happened, honestly felt surreal. Not in a good way. More like… are we all just expected to pretend the last two years didn’t happen? Because that’s what it looked like. A reset. A clean slate. As if everything that went down with Justin Baldoni just evaporated the moment she stepped onto that carpet in a Versace gown. And I’m sorry, but it doesn’t work like that. You don’t get to be at the center of a situation that serious, with that much damage done to someone’s reputation, and then just reappear in full glamour mode like it was all some minor inconvenience. Whether people want to admit it or not, that whole situation left a mark. On him, on the project, and on how people see her now. What makes it worse is the timing. Walking into one of the most visible events in the world right after everything wrapped up just feels… off. There’s no reflection in that. No pause. No sense that any of it actually mattered beyond being something to get past. And then there’s the bigger issue. When something tied to a story about domestic violence turns into this kind of public spectacle, it cheapens it. It stops being about the message and starts being about ego, control, and image. That’s the part that doesn’t sit right. You can call it strategy, you can call it PR, but to a lot of people it just reads as tone-deaf. Versace dressing her? That’s their choice. But let’s not pretend fashion houses don’t pick sides when they do that. They know exactly what kind of attention it brings. Same with the Met Gala. They don’t “accidentally” invite people. Every name is a decision. So yeah, people are going to question it. They should. Because this didn’t feel like a comeback. It felt like someone stepping right back into the spotlight without acknowledging the weight of what just happened. Like the expectation is that the audience will move on simply because she has. Not everyone will. And honestly, they shouldn’t have to. PS: That’s the only soundtrack that actually fits that red carpet. moment.show more
