WHY ARE WE STILL ALLOWING BILL GATES TO THINK... HE CAN RULE THE REST OVER THE REST OF US? WHO GAVE GATES THE RIGHT TO DECIDE WHAT HUMAN BEINGS STILL MATTER AND WHICH ONES DO NOT? Bill Gates just said humans won’t be needed for most things. And that ”we’ll decide” who still matters. WHO IS THE 'WE'? Let that sit for a second. The man who helped build the digital world is now casually announcing that the people living in it might be optional. No panic. No apology. Just a quiet admission from someone who has never had to worry about being replaced. The scariest part is not the AI. It’s the ”we.” Who is ”we,” Bill? Because it is not the people whose jobs disappear next year. This is not a tech problem. It’s a power problem dressed up as progress. When the people building the tools also decide who needs them, the rest of us are just passengers. Do you trust the people at the top to make that call for you? Courtesy - Captains Obviousshow more

Monday night on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Jelly Roll said... he has lost 300 pounds. He also took a shot at President Trump’s weight. That’s the joke. The substance is the work. Losing 300 pounds is not a celebrity makeover. That is a man deciding he was done living half a life. Anyone who takes their health seriously deserves credit. Not because it is fashionable. Because it is hard. You change what you eat. You change how you move. You live with the discomfort instead of hiding in it. Most people never do that work. When one person actually does it, it gives other people permission. It shows the excuse was never as strong as they thought. Hollywood loves to preach. Fitness is one of the few sermons that is real. Get healthier and everything else in your life gets a better shot. He did it. More people should.show more

We, the people of Iran, trusted the President of... the United States, and in return, he betrayed us. He betrayed us the people whose 40,000 loved ones never came home. He exploited the blood of our innocent children to advance his own political goals. His legacy will be more shameful than that of any American president in history. But the truth is that the price of this betrayal will not be paid by Iranians alone. The entire world, including the American people, will bear the consequences. We will continue our struggle with or without America’s false promises and empty support. Shame on you, President Trump. President Donald J. Trump Secretary Marco Rubio Lindsey Graham Mark R. a 20 year old typed one sentence into GPT-6... Astra and hospitals started paying people back $376,840 in hospital overcharges found in 4 days. no law degree, no medical degree, she can't code the trick is a file. since 2021 every hospital in america has had to publish every price it charges, including what it charges each insurer, in one file almost nobody opens. hers was 400,000 lines, and since january a hospital executive has to sign that it's accurate. Astra opens it, finds what the hospital listed for your insurance plan, and reads your bill against it line by line. two numbers don't match, it flags the line and writes the dispute letter mismatch found. one letter with both numbers in it. no lawyer $2,300 ER visit in dallas, the file listed $890 for the same codes and the same insurer. $1,410 back. $18,900 for two nights in tampa, listed at $9,700. $9,200 back her aunt does hospital billing and told her over christmas: 8 in 10 bills have a mistake and it's almost never in your favor. she has checked every bill in her own family for 15 years and never mentioned it outside the family she tried by hand in january. one weekend on her own $1,900 ankle bill, 4 errors, $740 refunded. then she quit, the file is too big for a human. that excuse expired on saturday she borrowed her roommate's pro account, dropped the same bill in and typed: "compare every line of this bill to the hospital's published price file for my insurer and write the dispute letter". same 4 errors. 6 minutes she posted one line in the dorm group chat: send me your hospital bill, i keep 25% of whatever comes back, nothing if nothing does. 312 bills by monday. Astra cleared all of them in two nights. she has one group chat and a borrowed account. there are 6,000 hospitals today her roommate saw the stripe tab and asked what his account has been doing all weekend. she showed him the numbers. he didn't say anything. he went and dug out his own ER bill from last year $376,840 in letters out. the first 3 hospitals already corrected their bills, $4,100 off what people owed. 25% is hers 312 bills. 287 had a mistake in the hospital's favor yours probably does tooshow more

In March 2024. I met Khaled Shaban in the... courtyard of al-aqsa hospital. As I approached him, he smiled, welcomed me with open arms, we embraced, and spoke for about 10 minutes. In this short video, you can hear the drones that perpetually swarmed over his head, as those of all the children in Gaza. He told me "Allah loves all people. Whether you are Jewish, Muslim, Christian or anything else, Allah loves you as he loves all his children." He also explained to me that he was aware of the Canadian governments support of 🇮🇱, but that the people of Canada he always found to be kind and warm. Imran Khan Pushed into Military Vehicle in Viral Video... Pak Public Silence Draws Criticism In the video former Prime Minister of Pakistan and one of the most popular figures in the country Imran Khan can be seen being pushed with great disrespect and humiliation by soldiers of Pakistan’s military regime into a military vehicle. Imran Khan rendered tireless services for Pakistan and its people striving to elevate the country’s name on the global stage. He made every effort to free the people of Pakistan from the influence of the U.S. and what he described as an oppressive military establishment. Imran Khan sacrificed a life of comfort and privilege something only a few people in the world ever attain for the sake of the people of Pakistan. But now it appears that the people of Pakistan have betrayed him and they are not even able to come out raise their voices or ensure that he is taken to a hospital for treatment. It is a matter of great shame that when you needed him he sacrificed everything for you, but when he needs you, you only look for 100 excuses even to take him to a hospital. Shame.show more

This is called the sonder effect. It’s the realization... that every stranger you see has an inner life as rich, layered, and emotionally real as your own. The person walking past you is not just “a woman in a red coat” or “some guy in traffic.” He has a past, private fears, people he misses, routines he hates, memories that still sting, and plans he has not told anyone yet. Most of the time, our brains simplify other people into background. Not because we are cruel, but because we have to move through the world from inside our own point of view. Sonder is what happens when that illusion breaks for a second. You stop seeing people as scenery and start seeing them as entire worlds. That is what makes it powerful. It does not just make the world feel bigger. It makes you more humble, more patient, and a little more aware of how much you do not know about the people around you. For one second, the background characters disappear. And everyone becomes real.show more

IN MY OPINION If Mr. Miles Guo wants to... come out, I do believe that he has an option to make it happen - The question is, why doesn’t he do it ? Once he is released, he will give us an answer in a way that will be unexpected, which may lead to some need more questions while others might fully understand. In my mind, all I knew was that everything he did was because of the NFSC, not just for himself alone. He chose to suffer in order to show that the new Chinese people will be recognized and respected by the whole world. No one knows the detailed outcome of his case more than he does. Up to date, CCP isn’t focused on trying to keep him imprisoned for as long as possible anymore; instead, they are more concerned about how they can face him once he is released.show more

I still can't wrap my head around the fact... that there are still 50,000 people missing from the Venezuela earthquakes. Imagine if a disaster of that scale happened in the US. Fifty thousand people is roughly the entire population of Palm Springs, California. Picture every single resident of that city just gone. If that many people vanished under rubble in a Western country, it would be the only thing on every news channel, every single day, for months. Instead, it feels like this massive tragedy has just been brushed under the carpet by the mainstream media cycle. The sheer scale of the devastation in places like La Guaira is unfathomable, yet the world has largely looked away. Every single one of those 50,000 missing people is someone’s child, parent, or friend. The global silence around this humanitarian crisis is deafening.show more

Kelsey Grammer is right. Reparations are wrong. He said... his grandparents survived the Depression and World War II. His grandfather spent 28 months in the South Pacific. That man does not owe anyone money for a crime he did not commit. Neither do the Italians who came after the Civil War. Neither do the Irish who came through Ellis Island. Living Americans are not a debt collection agency for the 1800s. You cannot tax people for the color of their grandparents and call it justice. That is a political program. It is not fairness. America already fought a civil war and rewrote the Constitution. The country does not owe a second bill to every identity group with a lobby. Treat people as individuals or stop pretending this is about healing. Grammer said what most politicians will not. He is correct.show more

Elon Musk gave the entire entertainment industry its expiration... date, and he is the one building the thing that kills it. Musk: “My guess is that we see the first compelling half hour, pure AI show next year.” Next year. A complete show generated entirely by AI. No writers. No actors. No cameras. No sets. No crew. No studio. Just a prompt and enough compute to render a reality that never physically existed. And shows are the easy part. Musk: “I say probably we’re maybe three years away from AI does the whole video game.” A show plays the same way every time. A game has to generate a living world that reacts to every decision in real time across every single frame. That is a fundamentally harder class of problem. And Musk put three years on it. Right now a single AAA title takes seven years and half a billion dollars across thousands of engineers and artists just to ship it. Musk is describing a world where one person types a paragraph and gets something comparable. The entire value proposition of a multi-billion dollar industry lives inside that gap. And it closes in thirty-six months. But the prediction is not the story. The person making it is. This is not an analyst speculating from the sidelines. This is the man building the largest AI compute clusters on the planet. The man who built xAI from zero in under two years. The man stacking hundreds of thousands of GPUs into facilities designed to do exactly what he is describing. When Musk says three years, he is not guessing about what someone else might eventually ship. He is reading you a delivery date off his own roadmap. Every media company on Earth is valued on a single assumption. That quality content is expensive and difficult to produce at scale. That one assumption is the structural foundation underneath every studio, every network, and every publisher in existence. Musk is dismantling it with raw compute. The studios still parading thousand-person production teams are not demonstrating strength. They are advertising the exact cost structure that one person with a prompt and a GPU allocation is about to make irrelevant. And it does not stop at entertainment. If AI can generate an interactive world that responds to human input in real time, it can generate anything. Advertising. Architecture. Training simulations. Product design. Every industry built on humans manually constructing visual experiences frame by frame is sitting on the same countdown Musk just read out loud. Now zoom out. Because this is not just an industry story. For the entire history of human civilization, the distance between imagining a world and actually creating one required thousands of people, millions of hours, and billions of dollars. That distance built Hollywood. That distance built the gaming industry. That distance made content scarce and studios powerful. Musk is collapsing that distance to zero. When the gap between imagining something and it existing disappears, every business model built on the difficulty of creation disappears with it. That is not disruption. That is a full inversion of how human beings create. Musk did not make a casual prediction on that podcast. He told you what he is building. He told you the timeline. And he told you which industries do not survive it. The entertainment industry is still debating whether this future is real. Musk is not part of that debate. He is building. And he just told you the delivery date.show more

Regarding the Eric Trump / Daniel Cormier “text scandal”,... I am open to being convinced otherwise, but I do not believe for one second that Eric Trump would text something so stupid to Daniel Cormier. It’s laughably stupid on its face to think that Eric Trump would ask a UFC commentator if any of the fights are “rigged”. That he would ask it in writing. And that he would not, for example, just pick up the phone and call Dana White or Joe Rogan himself. That said, I just want to understand what happened. Daniel Cormier said he was hacked. Is that to say he was hacked at the text level, or the X post level? Did he in fact make the post, and delete it? If he made the post, did he do it as a joke to illustrate how absurd the text hack was, but realized how the post could be misinterpreted as real? Or did someone make the post from his X account he subsequently deleted it. I know there are some who are going to say he made the post in earnest, thinking the text messages were real, intending to call out the “corruption”, and he has since been threatened, deleted the post, and claimed “hack”, etc. I can tell you exactly why I do not believe, even if he made the post, he did it believing the text message was real, intending to call out the “corruption”. If Cormier seriously thought the text messages were real, he would understand that by posting it publicly, it would literally destroy the UFC, his livelihood and his legacy - in addition to the legacy of everyone who has ever competed in the UFC. There is no realm of the universe in which even if it were in fact a real text that he actually received from Eric Trump, he would post it publicly. Because it would mean the end of the UFC. I just want to know if he actually made the post from his X account, or if the entire post was the result of a hack (hence the subsequent deleting of the post). Serious and sincere questions for clarity that would benefit everyone Eric Trumpshow more
