while all of AI twitter is arguing about Fable... 5.1 vs GPT-6 Astra, 95% of people out in public don't know either one exists. The gap is wild. Explaining doesn't work. Showing them AI built games doesn't work. Software developers are blown away because AI can do our job better and faster. - when robots build an entire house in 24 hours, the construction worker will get it. - when robots cook the food perfect every time, the chefs will understand. - when robots run into a burning building and save a family, the firefighters will understand too. people don't get it yet because they can't see what is coming as clearly as we can. we have been impacted, and what we see has far exceeded our expectations.show more

🎙️ Raphinha after FC Barcelona’s 7-2 win: 🤝 On... Hansi Flick and their relationship: “I can’t speak about others, but the truth is I’ve always said this and I’ll keep saying it forever. He’s the coach who changed my mindset so much inside the club, as well as the way I look at myself. That’s why I’m so grateful to him, and whenever I can, I’ll prove it to him.” 📈 On his level and always wanting to improve: “I think it’s always important to think that there’s something you need to improve. I’ll never tell you that I’m fine or that I’ve reached my best level, because if I said that, I’d be lying. I always try to improve everything I can, and I’m certain there’s still something more I can offer the team than what I’m offering now. I’m happy with the goals and the victory, and I think that’s the most important thing. But we have to keep improving, not just individually, but as a team as well.” 🎯 On playing as a striker: “The truth is, I’m comfortable there and scoring goals. I feel like I’m in good form.” Reporter: “Not bad, is it?” Raphinha: “No, not bad.” 😅 🤝 On Lamine after missing the penalty and helping his teammates: “This is normal, and that’s why whenever I can, I’ll try to help him, not just him, but Karim and Gabriel as well. I, more than anyone else, know that a striker needs his goal. We’re trying to do everything we can so he can score. We’re like a family here, and in a family everyone needs to be okay and moving in the same direction. So whenever we can, each one of us tries to help the other.” 🔥 On Adeyemi, the new players and Barça’s mentality: “I think this is the players’ hunger and their constant desire to achieve more. We have a mentality that whenever we can, we should look for more goals and create more chances. On top of that, it shows on the pitch just how strong our bond is as teammates. In that moment, I think Karim saw Lamine in a much better position to score the goal. And I think if we keep going this way, we have everything it takes to be at the top.” 💙❤️show more

🚨 POST-MATCH DRAMA AT BARCELONA! 🎙️ Interviewer: “Why was... Lamine Yamal substituted?” 🗣️ Hansi Flick: “First of all, this is Barcelona. Every player who wears this badge must play with passion, commitment, and complete focus for the club. Lamine is an incredible talent, but lately he has seemed a little distracted and hasn’t been performing at the level we know he’s capable of. Over the past few days, he’s been training separately and working hard to improve because he wants more from himself. We believe in him, but he must stay fully focused and give everything for the team.” 🎙️ Interviewer: “Should we expect Lamine Yamal to start the next match?” 🗣️ Hansi Flick: “Right now, the most important thing is for him to keep his head down, stay focused, and continue working hard. Whether he starts or comes off the bench is not the key issue. What matters is his attitude, commitment, and concentration. If he does that, he will have every opportunity. As a club, we will support him and help him get back to his very best.”show more

𝗣𝗼𝗽𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗻: "𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮." After working... with many 𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗼𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗽𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 teams who've fallen into the simulation trap, here's what I've learned: Simulation teaches your robot to be really, really good at simulation. Unlike blind locomotion policies that can get away with sim-to-real transfer because they rely mainly on proprioception and contact forces, 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻-𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗽𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗴𝗮𝗽. The subtle differences accumulate: - Simulated friction vs real surface textures - Perfect lighting vs shadows, reflections, glare - Ideal object geometries vs manufacturing tolerances - Instantaneous sensor readings vs real-world noise and latency - Clean backgrounds vs cluttered, dynamic environments 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻: Week 1: "Our model works perfectly in sim!" Week 2: "Let's collect some real data to fine-tune." Week 3: "The real data completely contradicts what the sim taught..." Week 4: "Okay, let's collect way more real data." Month 2: "We basically need to retrain from scratch." 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗵: There's no shortcut to real-world data collection for vision-based manipulation. Simulation is amazing for debugging, prototyping, safety testing, and of course to supplement your real data. But it's not a substitute for understanding how your robot actually behaves in the actual environment. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀: Use simulation strategically - for exploring edge cases, testing safety boundaries, and rapid iteration. But build your production models on real data from real environments. The teams that succeed treat simulation as a powerful tool, not a magic solution. This is why Neuracore focuses on making real-world data collection so much easier and faster. Because the physics of your actual environment can't be simulated away. 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹𝘀, 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝗮𝘆? 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗹, 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁! 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘀𝗶𝗺-𝘁𝗼-𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗲𝗿? In our new work, we study whether robots can improve after deployment by learning from their own failures, without any human intervention, teleoperation, or corrective labels. The key idea is simple: human videos contain structure about how the world works. We use them to learn cross-embodiment representations of action, dynamics, and value, enabling a shared predictive space between human behavior and robot experience. This allows a new learning loop: 👉 pretrain on human videos 👉 deploy robot policy 👉 observe failures 👉 reinterpret failures using human priors 👉 improve autonomously We evaluate this across 7 real-world manipulation tasks, showing: 📈 40% → 81% success rate 🏆 Strong improvements over π0.6 RECAP and RISE ✔️ Zero human intervention during post-deployment improvement 🧬 Generalizes across robot embodiments and policy backbones A key finding is that explicit failure repair significantly outperforms failure reweighting, yielding substantially larger gains under identical data conditions (+25 pts vs +5 pts on the same π0.5 base policy). Overall, the results suggest a shift in how we think about robot learning: Human videos are not only for pretraining policies. They can provide the structure needed for continual self-improvement after deployment. 📄 Paper: 🌐 Project: I am grateful for working with the fantastic leads Hanzhi Chen and Anran Zhang, and our collaborators Simon Schaefer, Kejia Chen, Shi Chen, Daniel Cremers. We have an unusually High #Tornado Threat from #Hurricane... Isaias This movie uses real data, to help educate on why this storm poses an enhanced risk. Notice the yellow vs blue arrows. Yellow are the winds just below the clouds, it’s the low level wind flow (jet) around and feeding into the storm. Blue are the mid-level winds associated with the jet stream. You’ll notice that as Isaias approaches the Gulf Coast the blue arrows increase and the low-level vs mid-levels winds vigorously cross (X) each other. That’s the jet stream (blue arrows) being infused into the tropical system. That will create more cross winds/ shear, weaken #Isaias, but embolden spin in the outer bands. This injection of energy will power strong #tornadoes on the storm’s east side at landfall in the #Florida Panhandle and beyond into the Southeast. Not all storms have this, but it’s more common in fall as the mid-latitude jet stream increases. And it gives the transitioning tropical storm system a different character. It causes the wind field at the core to expand, making the storm larger, empowering the outer bands with more wind, at the expense of the core winds which weaken. (Although all set ups are different, Milton and Sandy come to mind) *This animation does use real wind data, but the tornadoes are added to illustrate where the greatest risk is. They are not meant to forecast exactly where the tornadoes will be.show more

Only comment on this Non-Tropical vs Sub-Tropical vs Tropical... debate for the Nor'easter, but I don't know of many purely Non-Tropical systems over 25-26C SSTs that generate their own convection by dynamics of a well structured LLC and warm SSTs. I'm not saying the system is tropical, but it's clearly acquiring some Sub-Tropical characteristics and it's broadly ignored. By the agency who should be giving this more evaluation than it is... Let's also not pretend that we haven't seen dozens of these Non-Tropical to Sub-Tropical transitions marked well away from land over the years as at least having the potential to transition, if not fully having done so. That's the continued issue. The goal posts are always moving for systems like these, and for some reason it's the storms that make US impact that tend to have less leniency in classification. Which you would think it would be the opposite. It's not November, it's September and Non-Tropical systems FREQUENTLY acquire Sub-Tropical characteristics at this latitude. Why is it only when it's actually going to impact the CONUS that we go full classroom mode and err on the side of fully NT. This goes to the same issue of not having a recon in a borderline rapidly intensifying TS Edouard earlier this month along the the most susceptible coastline in the country for our energy industry. We have more resources, more data accessibility than ever to modernize the process of tracking these systems, yet the industry still behaves like its 2000. Why isn't there a recon in this system? It will be the most impact storm for the Northeast since probably Sandy(And to be clear I'm not saying this is Sandy). IMO it's a shortcoming that does the industry no good whatsoever.show more

🚨 NASA IS ABOUT TO LET A PRIVATE SPACECRAFT... RESCUE ONE OF ITS MOST IMPORTANT TELESCOPES. The Neil Gehrels Swift Observatory has been hunting gamma-ray bursts the most powerful explosions in the universe since 2004. It’s still working perfectly, but Earth’s atmosphere has been slowly dragging it down toward a fiery reentry. Now, NASA is turning to a commercial company to save it. Katalyst Space Technologies’ robotic spacecraft Link will launch later this month, rendezvous with Swift, dock with it, and boost the telescope into a higher, safer orbit extending its life by years. Why this matters: • It’s the first time a private spacecraft will perform an orbital boost on a U.S. government science satellite • Swift remains one of the best tools we have for studying gamma-ray bursts and other high-energy cosmic events • Without this mission, the telescope could have deorbited as early as this year • It shows how commercial space companies are now capable of performing complex servicing missions that were once only possible for governments The deeper implication: We’re entering a new era where valuable scientific infrastructure in orbit doesn’t have to be considered disposable. Instead of building and launching entirely new telescopes when old ones start to decay, we can now extend their lives through commercial servicing. This approach is faster, cheaper, and more sustainable and it could become a standard model for protecting high-value space assets in the future. Sometimes the most important space missions aren’t about discovering something new. They’re about making sure we don’t lose what we already have. Would you support more commercial missions to rescue and extend aging space telescopes? Follow for more frontier space exploration, satellite servicing, and NASA missions.show more

Dreams do come true My mother is my pillar... of strength. As a single parent, she worked three jobs to put food on the table, despite the endless obstacles we faced. These challenges shaped me into the man, father, and son I am today. One of the biggest reasons I chase ‘financial freedom’ is so that my mum can be free. I always said to myself she had a hard 1st part of her life, hard 2nd part and I will do everything in my power to make sure the 3rd part is easy and enjoyable. I have done countless things for her and plan to do more. But recently a emotional one was I bought her a business class ticket to Hong Kong, gave her spending money for a whole month, and arranged other amenities for her. Alhamdulilah This post is meant to inspire you. It’s a reminder that ‘YOU CAN DO IT.’ Do things for the right reasons, earn an honest living, stay true to yourself, love and support your family, and appreciate those who helped you get to where you are today. To my Mum, I love you. I promise that in the coming years, there will be wonderful surprises that I’ve been working on for the past decade just for you. vPay offshore accounts and physical cards have been getting... field-tested IRL for a while now, and we’ll open them to the public as soon as we’re fully confident in the UX. But before offshore accounts go public, I want to address a few points: Some might point out that - vPay isn’t the first crypto card - vPay doesn’t have the lowest fees - So why choose vPay instead of the Coinbase 🛡️ Card or MetaMask 🦊 Card or KAST or or Tria, or any of the other big names? Now to address: Privacy | The biggest differentiator that sets vPay completely apart is Private Banking. The majority of the crypto card providers on the market use Rain infra. Even if you’ve never heard of them, that's what your favorite "NeoBank" uses. And due to their legal jurisdictions, they will report your finances to authorities since they're CRS and FACTA compliant. We are not. As an OmniBank, we work with different banking partners, and although KYC is required to use our services, our offshore banks are non-CRS and non-FACTA. Tax reporting is the responsibility and choice of the user. Offshore Accounts vs Physical Cards | I've tried to highlight this a few times so far. vPay has 3 offerings on the banking side of things. Virtual cards - live now. Physical cards - coming Q1 2026. The first two are similar to what everyone else on the market offers. The offshore accounts are not. which are coming this week. They allow unlimited spending, ATM withdrawals, and international SWIFT transfers, which very few “Neobanks” provide. Offshore accounts are coming this week. Self-Custody | We're not 100% non-custodial yet, as that is near impossible at the moment but it's something we're working towards. And we try to keep the users' self-custodial wallets in the loop as much as possible for maximum control. Those who have tried the vPay app know that almost every move asks for permission from their wallet, and we always encourage users to keep their funds in their non-custodial wallets until the very last moment, since our top-ups usually only take seconds to a minute to process. Fees | All of the card providers mentioned above either raised millions from VCs or in presales or have a huge org backing them. We have neither. vPay was self-funded and community-owned since day 1, launched under Virtuals Protocol Genesis V1 launch model, an objectively bad launch model and hugely unfavorable toward project teams. So even though vPay has been generating revenue and profitable from early on, we do not have the luxury of offering 0% fees yet, since they're mostly a marketing gimmick paid for by millions in VC money and not a sustainable business model for early-stage companies. What we're working towards instead, is true co-ownership of vPay and revenue-share with users. OmniBank vs NeoBank | I’m not a fan of the term “NeoBank.” It implies just a bank, but make it crypto. That’s not vPay. Our goals have always been clear: A) Anything and everything users need to do with their money and assets, both Web2 and Web3, all in one hub. Powered by a constellation of partner agents. The cards and the bank accounts are just the foundation. B) To eventually build independent financial rails for crypto and decouple from the chokehold of Visa/Mastercard. vLink is the first step toward this vision. This turned out to be a rather long tweet, but context matters. Questions and feedback welcome in replies or DMs. See you all with your vPay vCards very soon.show more

Today vs March 21 Little tangent here. Scared dogs... don’t make puppies… I’ve been farming my whole life. In 2011 I lost my dad to cancer and the family looked at me to put out the crop. My dad made decisions. He was a leader. When I became responsible to seed, fertilize, spray, etc… 3,000 acres I knew I had 1 talent from when I was a kid. I have a memory like no other. I can tell you what hybrid I plant, pop, rate, day the last 14 years because I am engaged. When everyone was telling me exactly how to do things. I was more curious of what happens when I change a variable here or there. What was the elasticity of that decision or management. In weather forecasting they have a similar system that I was somewhat inspired by called ensemble forecasts where they change variables slightly and see how weather systems behave differently as time progresses. I could lean on my memory. I was bored AF quite honestly to do the same thing over and over again. What happens to corn if you skip a row or 2 or plant it thin or thick? Beans…can you broadcast them? Can you plant wheat with a shit tank? Can you run it over? When it’s 4” tall… what about 6” what about 13” Could you rotationally graze inside a cash crop and empower edge effect elasticity and fertilize simultaneously? It would drive some people crazy as they would wonder if you should plant 160,000 or 176000 beans per acre? What’s the difference…nothing. What’s the difference between 20” corn and 2040” corn? Full season likes the latter….early yields best crowded. Fuck around and Find out isn’t just some tic tok deal. It’s how you don’t become a scared dog. It calms your nerves as most people freak out about things that don’t really matter. Because they never had the balls to try anything else than what their dad did. I always felt like I needed to learn why and how things worked if I was ever going to become a better farmer. What matters are the derivatives, the 1st principles. There is a lot more we can do in production agriculture. It’s not all about winning the yield contest. Sometimes it’s about learning what you don’t need. That creates freedom.show more

TOMORROWS EVENT IN GLASGOW Tomorrow we stand together, we... stand shoulder to shoulder with women across this country and we say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. We stand up to those useless lying politicians in Holyrood who have betrayed us and our children for decades. Despite the MSM and the loon balls on the left trying to convince you otherwise, this protest is about this government and what its warped ideology has done to Glasgow and Scotland. What those dark overlords in Westminster have done to the people of the United Kingdom. You may not agree with us, that’s fine, we live in a democracy “allegedly” but please don’t abuse us, or attack us or spout vile hate at us. There has been so much work and effort gone into tomorrow. Good people have worked really hard to arrange a safe, peaceful event. If you are unsure of what our message is or are just curious what PINK LADIES GLASGOW is all about, why not come along and see for yourself. Come and speak to the women, listen to their stories, join in on a sing song, then judge us. Don’t be influenced by the MSM or left winged social media narratives, come along, watch, and think for yourself. 💗💗There will be speakers from women’s grassroots initiatives, not government funded entities who only support one narrative. For all those out there who want to call us names and label us, just know this, WE DONT CARE!!” As for the paid agitators being bused in to stand on the opposite side of the police cordon tomorrow, screaming vile things at WOMEN. I hope on Sunday morning when you wake up that you are ashamed yourself. Ashamed when you realise, oh wait they weren’t who we thought they were. They were just ordinary mums and grannies who have had enough of this Government. Because despite your preconceived notions, that’s what tomorrow is about THIS USELESS TREACHEROUS GOVERNMENT AND WHAT THEY HAVE DONE TO OUR COUNTRY. But you probably won’t. You will wake up in your posh postcode, surrounded by delusions of butterflies and unicorns and that’s fine. People are trying to make sense of why Reform... have put forward Laila Cunningham as their candidate for Mayor of London. Is she a real Muslim? Is Reform containment? The simplest answer is that Cunningham is only interested in politics as a path for self-promotion. She's a grifter. She saw Reform are likely to form the next government, rote-learned the slick "British values" talking points to get ahead in a party desperate to not be called racist, and was pushed as the progressive-proof face of the party. Everything she does is to increase her personal advantage. She made headlines with her "supermum" citizens arrest stunt. She was in favour of hate crime legislation when it benefitted her. She wrote Woke poetry about how London's diversity was its strength — words which could have come straight from the mouth of Sadiq Khan. Then she jumped aboard the Conservatives when they were in power. She took selfies with everyone she could, because it was more important to be seen at functions than to be actually doing anything. She went to Pride and hosted the first Iftar event as a Councillor for Westminster North. The contradictions don't matter. She doesn't believe anything consistent. These are just the rituals of being a part of liberal political circles. The passwords you have to speak to be part of the club. It gatekeeps in favour of shameless grifters. She only pulled out of being the Conservative Parliamentary candidate for Rotherham right before the 2024 election. What connection does she have to Rotherham? None, since she loves London so much that she's always lived there and wants to be Mayor. She just took the seat as a nonwhite Muslim woman, until she realised she couldn't win and it would damage her future prospects. We shouldn’t trust Cunningham. Not just because she's a Muslim, and both the British right and public at large don't like Islam. We shouldn’t trust her because her entire political career appears to be about making her famous. She wants to be in power and on camera for the sake of it. She isn't really all that interested in philosophy or policy. Otherwise, she wouldn't be reciting insults like "far right" or pushing the incoherent platitudes of "British values", because neither stand up to scrutiny. It's a grift. And if we want an effective right-wing in this country, we shouldn’t reward it.show more

MR. IG🐻Prescription Play #2🏀 Ja Morant o11.5 Reb+Ast (+100)... #GrindCity vs #LakeShow Film. Data. Narratives. What a great play. Show love if you want another play❤️ Lets start with the data because this man is averaging 16.8 Potential Assists across his last 9 games with 25+ minutes. We have also hammered the idea of the Lakers being a horrendous transition defense this season, and we know Ja Morant is at his most fun when he gets out in transition. Expect some easy assists on those plays here. Now as far as the Lakers, they don't hide their strategy of "you are either shooting or passing but you are not driving." While that last matchup was the one that started the drama with his comments about the coaches chewing him out mid-game, it did look like he was figuring out how to read it in the 2nd half. The Grizzlies would put Ja Morant on the wing in an ISO position, with everyone cleared out to the other side. The Lakers would have the big show EARLY help on the near side block. Ja Morant would then read the help of the big man and the weakside corner If the big and corner were helping early, he would drive and find the corner. If the big was helping and the corner wasn't, he would find the big on the opposite block. If the big AND the corner were waiting for him to drive before showing help, he would force the switch onto a lesser defender and put the Lakers into a position where they had to show help. And as far as the rebounding, Ja Morant's defensive role is simple: When there is a corner camper, matchup with the corner camper. With no Reaves, and not matching up on Luka/Lebron, we know this will be the case and should keep him in uncontested weakside rebounding position on any deep shot attempts. This is why he has had 11+ Rebound Chances in 3/4 against the Lakers.show more

(#JanJingjing) CONTEXT 🩷 (vid 2) - jan and singto sang “L.O.V.E.” by X3 Super Gang during the university star contest scene in SOTUS ep 5. the lyrics to “L.O.V.E.” are: “oh baby, L - i look over there, but it isn’t there O - i look over here, but i can’t find it V - which way should i look to find it? E - where is this thing called love? i really want to encounter it” - notably, if we directly translate the last lyric, “อยากจะพบเจอจริง ๆ (yak-ja-phob-je-jing-jing),” word by word, it’ll be “want to encounter really.” - in other words, the pronouns are dropped in this lyric, as thai is a pro-drop language, whereas “really (jing-jing)” appears at the end of the lyric as an adverb SOTUS 10TH YEAR CONCERT 🩷 (pic 1) - combined with the current context (i.e., janjingjing as a pair), this lyric can also sound like, “i want to encounter jingjing.” therefore, it was a super smart and fun touch to have “JING JING” appear on the screen whenever jan sang this lyric while re-enacting the scene during the concert (( to note, while “really (จริง ๆ)” and “jingjing (name; จิงจิง)” sound the same, their spellings are different, as you can see. the “ๆ” in “really” is a repetition marker in thai, so jingjing sometimes types her name as “จิงๆ,” as you will see below )) 🩷 (vid 3) - as a result, the watermark clip went viral, where jan got teased on day 2 [💬: suay-jing-jing (“you’re really pretty”), but i don’t want to say too much. jingjing’s watermark was all over the screen yesterday 🦊: oh… 💬: rak-jing-jing (“love jingjing”). hashtag janjingjing] 🩷 (pic 4) - when jingjing replied to jan’s post about SOTUS 10th year concert, she referred back to this lyric, “want to encounter really (yak-ja-PHOB-JE-JING-JING)”: [🐯: ได้พบเจอจิงๆแล้วนะ (dai-PHOB-JE-JING-JING-laew-na; “you’ve finally encountered jingjing”)] - as noted above, jingjing typed her name as “จิงๆ” here instead of “จิงจิง,” which further emphasizes the wordplay SO YEAH 🤟🏻💕 (more similar wordplay involving “really” VS “jingjing” is included in the mentions ;p)show more
