For everyone asking I had spinal decompression surgery, not... a fusion. This was supposed to be outpatient, but I ended up having a Dural Tear / Cerebrospinal Fluid Leak, which unfortunately I have had the leak happen before. Anyway it had to be sealed and because I’ve had it a couple times before it was a little bit more complicated this time. But the good news is I am OK and hopefully this will keep me from having to have major surgery. Continued prayers are appreciated because the pain is unbearable at times. So often when discussing training / dryfire / shooting... its like we are speaking 2 different languages. There are key concepts that some people are either unaware of, or choose to ignore that preclude having a productive discussion. For example if I were to say "slapping or smashing your trigger is perfectly fine for most shots" a bunch of people would be up in arms, talking about slowly working to the wall, letting the shot surprise you, etc. Experienced, performance-focused shooters will know that with a good grip or mount, I am right, and that how you mechanically move the trigger isnt super important. When you get to low %, or distance shots, you are increasing your level of confirmation of your dot or sights, and the trigger pull is maybe 10-15% slower. This is a video of me, absolutely smashing the trigger with 2-3x the force needed. Its not as stable as i would like, but im also having to straddle 2 tripods to get this shot lined up...🤣show more

After some discussion, I'm going to experiment with focusing... on an almost 'heist-like' aspect to the game. When you first arrive the house is dark and the ghosts unbothered. As you make noise and create a disturbance the house slowly comes alive. (for example fuseboxes let you turn on the lights, but generate a burst of activity when flipped on) I think this might change the ghost hand dynamic. Maybe instead of an enemy that grabs you, and you break free from, they are instead a trap that when they grab you, the struggle is to not make noise while they're having their fun?show more

I’m someone who takes a while to get ready,... no matter where I’m going. I like having everything in order, so I rarely leave the house at the last minute. The thing I hate most is being late, so I always do my best to avoid it. When it comes to competitions, I take getting ready even more seriously.
