Cel shaded models may look simple but underneath the... hood there's lots going on👉 -Outlines are controlled with vertex weights -Crisp lines like around the eyebrows are on their own UV island -Shadows aren't drawn into the base texture, AO maps are used for it. You can see there are permanent shadowed areas that blend into the shader shadows -Shadow color maps are used, otherwise the yellow area won't be able to have pinkish shadows It is also possible also do more with SDF maps and normal editing..
