Pixel art was MADE to be viewed on a... CRT TV. The blooming, scanlines, etc are part of the image that smooths it out, blends colors together, and gets rid of the harsh edges. The original game artists created everything with that analog distortion in mind, so the raw pixels aren't necessarily what they intended you to see. Don't get me wrong, raw pixels can look cool too! And if you like that look, then by all means go for it. But it's worth trying a nice CRT shader on them to see if you might like it even better!show more

SUV goes flying over a Michigan highway, barely missing... a driver. I've always wondered what it would look like for a car to jump off one of these hills. The clip was originally posted to Reddit by a user named StormCamperTTV who didn't provide context. A different user however named GoldenGarbear said they witnessed the aftermath of the crash. "I couldn't see all of it but I was getting off at that exit and you could see the tracks in the grass going up the hill and the guard rail was pretty mangled." "The police had also blocked off the on-ramps, and there were a bunch of emergency vehicles around." There's a bit of a trick to it, and... even if you bring out the Omochao right away, you can't accelerate. That's because it takes a little time for the Omochao to neatly place the rings, so you have to use it well before entering the grass. Also, I think you can enter the dirt on all courses regardless of gadgets or the number of rings. I tried it on Sand Road,Mystic Jungle and Apotos etc, and it worked. The rings probably have an effect that helps maintain speedshow more

Obviously I would love to play some of the other courses: I haven't played Merion. I'm honestly kind of bummed that I hadn't played here beforehand because I selfishly would have tried to go play Merion while I was here, but I feel like it's in my best interest and my job to play the golf course that I'm playing this week. I feel like obviously to me, it's just a different style and a different look of golf up here. There's a place that's really close by that I was driving past, and they all look so cool. I kind of think of it similar to like in Scotland or Ireland: there's no bad golf courses it seems like you can play, you know what I mean? They all look so unique. They have the old templates, the old kind of architecture and the crazy green complexes, the bunkering. Just something about the bent fairways and the rye, bluegrass rough, how it just kind of shapes the hole. It looks really cool. I think that there's so many, so many great courses that I'm sure we could have tournaments like this at, but just the infrastructure and the property itself don't allow for all of it. If you ever get the chance to go to... Normandy, take it. Don't just visit it-take your time and let it sink in, because it is one of the most humbling experiences I've ever had. Standing there, looking out across those beaches, you can almost feel the weight of what happened there. It's hard to fully understand what those soldiers went through until you're standing in that place, realizing the courage it took just to run toward that shore. The beauty of Normandy is quiet and powerful, but so is the sacrifice it represents. The rows of white crosses, the history in the ground, the silence in the air-it all reminds you that freedom came at a tremendous cost. It's the kind of place that stays with you long after you leave. It makes you grateful, reflective, and a little more aware of how much was given for the life we live today. Amidst the accusations and misconceptions that I string slapped... myself on purpose to “sell” something that was a complete joke, I actually did have the chance to hit the range! 😂🏹 And you know what? It was an absolute blast, just like always. This marked my inaugural lesson with a compound bow, and I’ve got to say, I’m hooked! The difference from a recurve bow was striking. It seemed to be a lot more forgiving when it came to getting consistently good shots and tight groupings. If I ever decide to take the plunge into bowhunting, the compound would definitely be my weapon of choice for accuracy, a crucial element in hunting. It also made me appreciate the level of skill required to excel with a recurve bow. There are fewer bells and whistles to help with accuracy, which means you really need to hone your skill. Rest assured, if I ever embark on a bowhunting journey, it will be after extensive practice and mastery of the sport. 🦌🌿 Using my new Hoyt Eclipse of course! 😉show more

But despite all the hype back then, several aspects... of the movie felt off. How did Rudy manage to escape the jaguar from the tree? All we saw was the jaguar roaring and chasing after him, yet it still couldn’t catch Rudy, who was already half-exhausted. I understand the narrative of the last breath, but they could have made it more believable. Secondly, the timing of the moon crossing over the sun to create the eclipse was too fast. The time it took for the priest to react to something they rarely witnessed didn’t seem to connect properly. I’ll leave that for astronomers to confirm. This man went to the gas station because he... was low, when he pulled up, he saw that all the pumps had bags tied around them as if the pumps were out of order. For whatever reason he decided to pump it anyways, and the pumps started going, indicating to him that they do have gas. Could it be that someone was playing a prank, or could it be that they are low on gas or doing maintenance.
