The expansion will add nearly 12 lakh sq ft of manufacturing and allied infrastructure, increasing annual manufacturing capacity from around 12 crore pieces by an additional 18–20 crore pieces. Western Railway is undertaking a major safety-driven encroachment removal... operation at Garib Nagar, Bandra (East), today i.e 19th May 2026, after due legal process extending over several years. The following facts may kindly be noted: 1. The matter is not sudden or arbitrary. Proceedings under the Public Premises Act were initiated before 2017 and eviction orders were passed on 27.11.2017. 2. The issue has undergone extensive judicial scrutiny over nearly nine years, including proceedings before the Hon’ble Bombay High Court and Hon’ble Supreme Court. 3. The latest orders of the Hon’ble Bombay High Court dated 29.04.2026, subsequently upheld in further proceedings as well as before the Hon’ble Supreme Court, have permitted removal of unauthorized encroachments, while protecting identified eligible structures. 4. Western Railway is fully complying with judicial directions. Structures identified for protection through the joint survey process are not being disturbed. 5. The action is being undertaken primarily in the railway safety zone adjacent to active railway tracks, where unauthorized habitation poses serious risks to human life and train operations. 6. This railway area stretch is operationally critical for augmentation of rail capacity in Mumbai. Removal of encroachments is essential for railway safety, operational flexibility and future infrastructure expansion, including additional train services. 7. The proposed works are linked to enhancement of carrying capacity on one of the busiest rail corridors in the country and will facilitate introduction of additional long-distance train services for passengers across India. 8. Railway land cannot remain perpetually encroached, be it anywhere, and more so in safety-sensitive operational areas. At the same time, Railway administration is acting strictly within the framework of law and court directions. 9. To date, StablecoinX has raised a total of approximately $895M in PIPE financing, which is expected to result in a vehicle with over 3 billion ENA tokens on its balance sheet at closing. This enhanced scale enables greater access to additional institutional channels, broader investor and third-party coverage, and the capacity to hire top tier leadership. As with the initial PIPE raise, the cash raised via the PIPE will be used by StablecoinX to acquire tokens from a subsidiary of the Ethena Foundation. The Ethena Foundation subsidiary will initiate an approximately $310 million buyback program over the next 6-8 weeks via third party market makers, reinforcing the alignment between the Foundation and StablecoinX shareholders. 🏥 NEW: Israel points to broken European Hospital as... it prepares to clear Gaza City hospitals Israeli Army Radio and the Times of Israel reported Saturday that the European Hospital in Khan Younis will serve as the replacement for all Gaza City hospitals as the army moves to seize the city — but Gaza’s Health Ministry says the facility is devastated and nowhere near ready to operate. In May this year, the hospital was hit by a heavy Israeli airstrike targeting a tunnel beneath the compound. The attack killed at least 28 people, caused massive damage to the facility (including roads and infrastructure), and led to the evacuation of its remaining patients. The Times of Israel described medical staff cleaning and clearing the compound today, after the IDF finally allowed access, and cited Israeli officials who said the UN and international aid groups are drawing up plans to restart the hospital “as an additional medical response” for the estimated one million Palestinians expected to be forcibly displaced. But Gaza’s Ministry of Health rejected that narrative, saying an initial assessment found massive damage to sewage, water, electricity, and oxygen systems, as well as to buildings and medical equipment. It warned that even if resources were provided immediately, it would take at least two months and $1.3 million just to restart the hospital at a minimal level, and six more months and another $3 million for full operation. The ministry stressed it will not evacuate any hospitals in Gaza governorate and renewed its demand for protection of health facilities and staff. Ukraine launched overnight drone strikes against three warehouse facilities... across Russia, including two operated by Wildberries, with Russian officials reporting five people killed and 10 others wounded in the Moscow region. The deadliest strike hit a warehouse in Chekhov, south of Moscow, while separate drone attacks damaged Wildberries facilities near St. Petersburg and in Russia's Tver region. Wildberries said the St. Petersburg warehouse caught fire but reported no casualties there. This video is purportedly from one of the strikes on an unknown Wildberries facility reported earlier today, but that has not been verified. Wildberries, often compared to Amazon because of its dominant role in Russia's e-commerce and nationwide fulfillment network, has become a recurring target. According to Reuters, Ukraine has attacked more than a dozen Wildberries facilities since July 18 as part of an expanding campaign against Russia's logistics infrastructure. Kyiv says these warehouses support Russia's war effort by serving as logistics hubs and distribution centers, while Moscow and Wildberries deny those claims and describe the attacks as terrorism. Any time a game's budget is in profit, a part of every loss is distributed to stakeholders. Here is an example: 1. The WINR Bonanza Game has a 10,000 budget for a frontend operator. 2. Let's assume the bet amount was $50, and Bonanza paid back $10 on that spin. That leaves $40 of pure profit. 3. This is distributed amongst 50% to WLP, 20% to frontend operators, 20% to WINR holders, and 10% to game providers. 4. To achieve this, V2 of WINR Liquidity Engine (WLP) will have a buffer for purchasing and selling, working in epochs to determine the above distribution and math. - Solana Deployment and Expansions: Solana audits are in their final phase, and frontend tests are ongoing. New York and Chicago are two big hubs in... the eastern US. Distance: 800 miles or 1300km roughly. Same as Delhi - Mumbai in India. There are 3 ways to travel. You can fly. You can drive. Or you can take a train. Fastest train is Amtrak lakeshore which takes ~19hrs. Driving takes 14hrs but you need to rest as well. I love trains. So I decided to take Amtrak. Their sleeper class. Took a roomette. First of all - American trains run on standard gauge. Which is smaller than Indian broad gauge. The compartments are smaller. And the trains are less comfortable. They shake way more. Second - Americans really don’t understand passenger trains. This train left late and then sat on a random station for 30mins. It’s already running late and usually reaches 2-3 even 5hrs delayed. And this is supposed to be a premium train. Culprit ? Freight. Americans don’t have dedicated fright tracks. The train btw is full. Which means people do want to travel on it. All sorts of people. Old, young. Business travellers. Only 2 coaches are sleeper - rest are coach (chaircars). Then the train reaches Albani and has to merge with another train from boston. Whole process takes 30-45mins. Can you believe a major train just sitting off a closed platform, cutting off its engines and adding more bogies in the middle of its journey in India ? The train had power supply for 30 mins cause it’s powered by diesel engines. Which are cut off. Diesel engine. Yes. The entire route except parts of NYC is non electric. It’s all old school diesel. It slowly chugs after and stops everywhere it can. Like an old Indian passenger train. The cabin is decent as it should be for a $700 price. The food is microwaved prepackaged stuff - ie very bad. There’s a coach attendant but he doesn’t care. I’ve travelled extensively in Rajdhani - and I can tell you it’s high luxury compared to this. And for 1/10th the price. The food, the cabin - all are superior. The reason I’m bringing this up is not to say Indians know it better. Not at all. But that even the most advanced cultures get it wrong. Even the most sorted out people - the one most advanced in tech - somehow don’t know how to run cross-country trains at scale. And this is not even a cross country trip. Hardly 1/4th of it. So what did they get wrong ? They stopped building. Upgrading. Improving. They do a few things right. Like making good highways. Take that learning. They do many things wrong. Like this train. They’ve stopped building. No dedicated freight tracks. No magnificent new stations. No high speed rail. The only lesson to learn is to not make that mistake. Build. And keep building. It’s harvest season now, and in Ukraine, it’s an... extremely difficult one. This video is from Zaporizhzhia region. Farmers are putting out a fire caused by drone debris. What’s happening with the harvest in Ukraine right now? This year, Ukraine has a good harvest - in some areas, better than expected: around 64 million tonnes of grain, including roughly 23 million tonnes of wheat, 32 million tonnes of corn, and more than 5 million tonnes of barley. Together with oilseeds, the season’s export potential exceeds 50 million tonnes. The problem is harvesting it: Russian forces continue to attack farmers and agricultural machinery. Then there is the challenge of getting the harvest out through the ports of Greater Odesa. Russia is striking them with unprecedented intensity: more than 180 attacks on port infrastructure in the first half of the year, compared with around 150 during all of last year. In a single month, 28 civilian vessels were attacked. As a result, around 90% of shipping operators have suspended port calls; foreign vessels have not entered major ports for weeks; and the largest terminals have halted purchases. The next problem is storage. If the wheat cannot be exported now, grain elevators will be full right through September-November, when the harvest of 32 million tonnes of corn begins. For Ukrainian farmers, this creates a squeeze: domestic prices are falling because there is a surplus of grain with nowhere to go, while global prices are rising at the very same moment. Additional pressure comes from the energy sector: Russian strikes on Ukraine’s power grid and fuel infrastructure are driving up the cost of drying and transporting grain, just as Ukrainian strikes on refineries are doing the same for Russian farmers. This front works both ways. And most importantly - the time horizon. If Ukrainian farmers cannot properly sell their 2026 harvest, they will cut spending on seeds, fertilizer, and fuel for the 2027 harvest, while some farms will reduce the amount of land they cultivate. This year’s logistics crisis becomes next year’s production crisis. The sooner Russia loses its ability to continue its aggression against Ukraine, the sooner markets and global food security will begin to recover.show more

The Government Railway Police (GRP) arrested 30-year-old Roshan Suvarna... on Wednesday, June 24, for allegedly stabbing a co-passenger to death inside a moving first-class compartment of a Mumbai local train. The fatal altercation, which took place late Monday night between Andheri and Borivali stations, began as a dispute over closing the coach door to block out heavy rain. The victim, 22-year-old finance marketing professional Mayank Lohar, was stabbed multiple times in the abdomen and chest before the attacker jumped from the slow-moving train at Borivali station and fled. Roshan Suvarna is a 30-year-old airport ground employee who works in the cargo section at the Mumbai International Airport. A resident of the Mira-Bhayandar suburb, Suvarna was a regular commuter on the Western Line network. According to railway police investigators, Suvarna did not have a known prior criminal record matching this profile, but he was carrying a large knife inside his personal bag on the night of the incident. Following the stabbing, CCTV footage captured him calmly walking away from the station platform, prompting authorities to deploy specialised tracking units to locate him. The incident occurred aboard the Churchgate-Nallasopara Fast Local (Train No. 90663). Both Suvarna and Lohar boarded the first-class compartment at Andheri station. As heavy monsoon rain lashed the city and wind blew water into the compartment, an argument broke out between the two men over whether the coach door should be shut or left open. The verbal exchange quickly escalated between Jogeshwari and Malad stations. Investigators state that Suvarna pulled a knife from his bag and repeatedly stabbed Lohar in the abdomen and chest. Despite other passengers being present in the coach, the sudden violence left bystanders frozen, and no one intervened. The train arrived at Borivali Station’s Platform 6 at approximately 11:04 PM. Before the train could come to a complete halt, Suvarna jumped onto the platform and escaped into the city transit crowds. Railway Protection Force (RPF) and GRP personnel reached the compartment within three minutes, safely evacuating a critically injured Lohar onto a stretcher by 11:12 PM. He was taken to the station's Emergency Medical Room and subsequently moved to Shatabdi Hospital in Kandivali, where doctors declared him dead due to severe internal trauma. To track down the attacker, the Borivali GRP established six specialised search teams. Investigators reviewed CCTV footage across multiple transit hubs and eventually established Suvarna’s location after questioning his father. Suvarna was ultimately intercepted and taken into custody in the Kurla neighbourhood. The victim, Mayank Lohar, lived in Virar and had been working at a retail corporate office in Chakala, Andheri, for the past nine months. Although his family originally traces their lineage to Nepal, his relatives noted that they represent the sixth generation of their family residing in Mumbai. The fatal confrontation has renewed public concerns regarding safety protocols and baggage screening on Mumbai's suburban railway network. Because millions of commuters crowd the local trains daily during the monsoon season, authorities are facing mounting pressure to improve the presence of security personnel inside late-night compartments. Gaza will be a de-radicalized, terror-free zone that does not pose a threat to its neighbors. 2. Gaza will be redeveloped for the benefit of its people. 3. If Israel and Hamas agree to the proposal, the war will immediately end, with the IDF halting all operations and gradually withdrawing from the Strip. 4. Within 48 hours of Israel publicly accepting the deal, all living and deceased hostages will be returned. 5. Once the hostages are returned, Israel will free several hundred Palestinian security prisoners serving life sentences and over 1,000 Gazans arrested since the start of the war, along with the bodies of several hundred Palestinians. 6. Once the hostages are returned, Hamas members who commit to peaceful coexistence will be granted amnesty, while members who wish to leave the Strip will be granted safe passage to receiving countries. 7. Once this agreement is reached, aid will surge into the Strip at rates no lower than the benchmarks set in the January 2025 hostage deal, which included 600 trucks of aid per day, along with the rehabilitation of critical infrastructure and the entry of equipment for removing rubble. 8. Aid will be distributed — without interference from either side — by the United Nations and the Red Crescent, along with other international organizations not associated with either Israel or Hamas. 9. Gaza will be administered by a temporary, transitional government of Palestinian technocrats who will be responsible for providing day-to-day services for the people of the Strip. The committee will be supervised by a new international body established by the US in consultation with Arab and European partners. It will establish a framework for funding the redevelopment of Gaza until the Palestinian Authority has completed its reform program. 10. An economic plan will be created to rebuild Gaza through the convening of experts with experience in constructing modern Middle East cities and through the consideration of existing plans aimed at attracting investments and creating jobs. 11. An economic zone will be established, with reduced tariffs and access rates to be negotiated by participating countries. 12. No one will be forced to leave Gaza, but those who choose to leave will be allowed to return. Moreover, Gazans will be encouraged to remain in the Strip and offered an opportunity to build a better future there. 13. Hamas will have no role in Gaza’s governance whatsoever. There will be a commitment to destroy and stop building any offensive military infrastructure, including tunnels. Gaza’s new leaders will commit to peaceful coexistence with their neighbors. 14. A security guarantee will be provided by regional partners to ensure that Hamas and other Gaza factions comply with their obligations and that Gaza ceases to pose a threat to Israel or its own people. 15. The US will work with Arab and other international partners to develop a temporary international stabilization force that will immediately deploy in Gaza to oversee security in the Strip. The force will develop and train a Palestinian police force, which will serve as a long-term internal security body. 16. Israel will not occupy or annex Gaza, and the IDF will gradually hand over territory it currently occupies, as the replacement security forces establish control and stability in the Strip. 17. If Hamas delays or rejects this proposal, the above points will proceed in terror-free areas, which the IDF will gradually hand over to the international stabilization force. 18. Israel agrees not to carry out future strikes in Qatar. The US and the international community acknowledge Doha’s important mediating role in the Gaza conflict. 19. A process will be established to de-radicalize the population. This will include an interfaith dialogue aimed at changing mindsets and narratives in Israel and Gaza. 20. When Gaza’s redevelopment has been advanced and the PA reform program has been implemented, the conditions may be in place for a credible pathway to Palestinian statehood, which is recognized as the aspiration of the Palestinian people. 21. The US will establish a dialogue between Israel and the Palestinians to agree on a political horizon for peaceful coexistence.show more
