It has come to our knowledge that a person named Mojarul; who is a Personnel of the Kolkata Police, hailing from Nandigram, is unauthorizedly handling Voter Lists and actively summoning Police Personnel to the SDO Office in Haldia to cast their votes. He is reportedly instructing them to bring their Departmental I-Cards and Voter IDs for this purpose. This is a violation and illegal Interference. A Serving Police Personnel has no authority to manage voter lists or "coordinate" the voting process of other personnel in this manner. This is a clear attempt to interfere with the Postal Ballot process, potentially compromising the neutrality and secrecy of the vote for Uniformed Personnel. The involvement of a KP personnel in such activity at the Haldia SDO Office raises serious questions about the Jurisdictional Breach and influence being exerted on the ground.
