#26YearsofKargilVijay Grenadier Yogendra Singh Yadav Grenadiers During Kargil War, Grenadier Yogendra Singh Yadav was part of Ghatak Platoon of 18 Grenadiers, tasked to capture #TigerHill. He volunteered to lead the rope fixing to the objective at an altitude of 16500ft. After reaching in close proximity to the objective, due to enemy fire, he lost his team commander & two soldiers and himself sustained grievous injuries. Undeterred, he closed in and neutralised four enemy soldiers. Inspired by his gallant act, his platoon charged and captured the objective. Awarded with Param Vir Chakra #PVC. Salute to the War Hero! #KVD2025

#26YearsofKargilVijay Captain Vikram Batra 07 July 1999 Jammu and Kashmir Rifles (JAK RIF) During #Kargil War, Captain Vikram Batra had earlier led his Company to successfully capture #Pt5140, in which he had daringly neutralised four enemy personnel in hand-to-hand combat. In yet another battle to capture #Pt4875, he displayed most conspicuous courage & valour in the face of enemy and achieved a near impossible mission. In this operation he led the assault and neutralised five enemy soldiers at point blank range and pressed on the attack despite sustaining grievous injuries. Inspired by his super human act and exemplary leadership, the troops charged on and captured Pt 4875. Awarded with the Param Vir Chakra #PVC (Posthumous). We pay our tribute. #KVD2025

#26YearsofKargilVijay राइफलमैन संजय कुमार जम्मू एंड कश्मीर राइफल्स (JAK RIF) कारगिल युद्ध के दौरान, प्वाइंट 4875 की ओर बढ़ता हमला दुश्मन की मशीन गन से हो रही भीषण गोलीबारी के कारण थम गया था। राइफलमैन संजय कुमार ने, गंभीर रूप से घायल होने के बावजूद, अद्वितीय साहस का परिचय देते हुए दुश्मन के संगर पर अकेले धावा बोला और तीन घुसपैठियों को ढेर कर दिया। इसके बाद, दूसरे बंकर पर आक्रमण कर एक और घुसपैठिए को मौत के घाट उतारा। उनसे प्रेरित होकर, अन्य सैनिकों ने दुश्मन पर हमला कर, चोटी पर कब्जा कर लिया। #परमवीरचक्र से सम्मानित। #KVD2025
