#Michigan OC Jason Beck was taken back by the criticism about the Rhino position in the offense: "When you look at it, obviously we had Manu in the first three games. He was out for a couple weeks and Avery filled in. And so we cut back a little bit. And I'd say we haven't been, even with Manu early on, we weren't exactly sure what we'd get because he never played. So we haven't been heavy, heavy in the Rhino stuff. But each game we come out of it, that thing's performed at a pretty good level. I mean, they're winning blocks, they're getting knock back, they're creating stuff in the run game, and the protection's been solid with those guys. I don't know if you care what PFF thinks at all. You know, you look at PFF, they're one of our highest-graded people. And so I would say that's not real accurate information. I would say, yes, everything sucks, so maybe it's the Rhino's fault. But we look at that like anything else. How do we adjust, tweak, get away from it, whatever it may be? And by no means do I want to say, hey, they're playing at the highest level in the world. But that's not a major problem. They're actually getting a lot of positive things done."

#Michigan HC Kyle Whittingham on his comments about not hating Ohio State from Big Ten media days: “Do we have a better chance of winning if I hated them? I don’t understand. Whatever gives us the best chance to win, I’m all for it. I want to beat them worst than anybody.”

#Michigan RB Jordan Marshall reacting to HC Kyle Whittingham's 0-4 comment from Monday's presser: "If you want me to be honest, it has felt like that. It's not because we're 0-4... that's not what he meant by that. What I took from it was we haven't played our best football."

#Michigan WR JJ Buchanan was asked if there's more of a challenge getting open with how much the Rhino position is used in this offense: "No, I don't think so. I think Beck has done this thing for a long time and he knows what he's doing. He was just talking and it's our most productive personnel I believe is a Rhino and three wide outs, so I mean, do what you want with that information. Everybody is talking about the Rhino and it's our most productive personnel, so I don't think so. I think I have the ability to get open with whatever personnel package he comes out with."
