Agree to disagree. Abdul has been co-opting the Black experience. From his photo comparing himself to Rev. King to his saying his win would be akin to the civil rights movement. I know the algo's a mess , but I haven't seen anything from him advocating for Black people.

I think you’re missing big on race here and especially class reductionist. I worked for him on both campaigns. During Governors race, he asked me if the campaign had a racial bias problem. During Senate race, given how black staff were treated beyond just me, I told him I’d just shut up and dribble.

I'm indifferent to AIPAC but when candidates & their supporters start to use that as a synonym for other things I'm not blind to that at all. Hard pass.

As a MI voter, I’ve been planning on voting for AES, but I’ve been concerned about how Black voters have been discussing him. I felt like I must be on the wrong side and it’s bothered me greatly. Thanks for speaking out.
