#GeneralUpendraDwivedi, #COAS felicitated the #IndianArmy Marching Contingents, Mounted Contingents and Military & Pipe Bands for their exemplary performances during the #RepublicDay 2026 Parade and the Beating Retreat Ceremony. During the interaction with the participating contingents, the COAS lauded their precision and unwavering professionalism displayed during the national celebrations. The Best Marching Contingent Award was awarded to the Assam Regiment. The Best Military Band Award was conferred upon the Guards Regimental Centre, with the Rajputana Rifles Centre securing the Runners-up position. The Best Pipe Band Award was won by the 14 Gorkha Training Centre, while the Garhwal Rifles Regimental Centre was adjudged Runners-up.
