Fahima Yusuf Quuje, a regional lawmaker in the administration based in Las Anod, said she has resigned and returned to Somaliland. She abandoned her previous stance on a united #Somalia. Quuje, who played a prominent role in the 2023 conflict that led to Somaliland forces withdrawing from Las Anod, announced her return in a public statement, saying she had changed her political position and now supports Somaliland's secession bid.
