Why #TulunadState demand is legitimate & constitutional? - Articles 2 & 3 of the Indian Constitution have clear provisions. - Article 347 also has a special provision to protect minority languages under the purview of the President of India. - Tulunad is a distinct geographic region with ancient tribal civilization, cultural heritage, language & written history of more than 2500 to 3000 years through scriptures, palm leaves, Tamil Sangam mentions, oral history goes even beyond with its rich Daivaradhane Sandi-Pardanas. - Tulu is a language of daily business widely spoken by all Tulunad people irrespective of caste, community & religion. - Tulu & Tulunad regions were neglected by all successive state & central governments from 1956 with complete injustice to this region. - The govt. supports education, administration services in the mother tongue but Tulu has been deprived of these rights for the past 70 years. - Govt. of Karnataka has done injustice to Tulu by eliminating the linguistic rights clause in their newly formed 2023 bill, which was there in the 1963, 1981 acts. - Govt. of India, Karnataka, Kerala are delaying & dragging the long pending demand of #Tuluto8thSchedule #TuluOfficialinKA #TuluOfficialinKA_KL & #TulutoClassicalLanguage - In the recent past there are many new states formed with similar demands & criteria.
