Exercise #KhaanQuest 2026 The multinational peacekeeping exercise #KhaanQuest 2026 concluded today at the Five Hills Training Area, #Ulaanbaatar, #Mongolia. The closing ceremony was attended by Major General Baasandamba Dashtseden, Deputy Minister of Defence and Lieutenant General Ganbyamba Sunrev, Chief of General Staff of the Mongolian Armed Forces, who commended the professionalism and camaraderie displayed by all participating contingents. Bringing together contingents from 18 nations, including India, the exercise enhanced interoperability, joint peacekeeping capabilities and humanitarian assistance under the UN Peacekeeping framework. The #IndianArmy demonstrated high standards of professionalism and operational proficiency during joint training and simulation-based exercises alongside partner nations. Exercise #NomadicElephant 2025 The 17th edition of the Joint Military Exercise #NomadicElephant 2025 between #IndianArmy & Mongolian Army will be held from 31 May to 13 June 2025 at #Ulaanbaatar, #Mongolia. Exercise #NomadicElephant 2025 The opening ceremony of the 17th edition of the Joint Military Exercise #NomadicElephant 2025 between #India and #Mongolia was held today at the Special Forces Training center #Ulaanbaatar. The Exercise is scheduled to be conducted from 31 May to 13 Jun 2025. The exercise is focused on conduct of joint Counter Insurgency and Counter Terrorism operations, facilitating the exchange of best practices, tactics and techniques, thereby enhancing interoperability between the two Armies.
