This is a bad bill and Republicans know it, which is why they’re struggling to find the votes to pass it. It kicks 17 million people off their health care and so much other terrible stuff and we’re fighting to stop it.

That’s why today I gave notice of a motion to split Bill C-22. We are committed to seeing Part 1 pass before the summer adjournment, but Part 2 is major government overreach and needs much further study if the committee is going to fix this flawed Liberal surveillance law.
