Professional whitening treatments and over-the-counter strips can be expensive and often cause tooth sensitivity. This simple remedy costs around $3 and effectively removes stains caused by coffee, tea, wine, and natural aging. Here are the two ingredients you need to make it:

Want to have a bright white smile like Tom Cruise, Kim Kardashian, and George Clooney? It's not as hard as you may think. Here’s a safe and effective way to whiten your teeth using only two ingredients: 🧵

Avoid hydrogen peroxide in high concentrations (15–40%), which professional treatments often combine with UV or LED light. These high levels can: • Irritate gums • Dehydrate enamel • Cause tooth sensitivity Lower concentrations are safer and more suitable for at-home use.

Whitening recipe: • 1 teaspoon baking soda • 3 drops of 3% hydrogen peroxide • 8 drops of water Mix until a smooth paste forms.

How to use: • Brush gently for 1–2 minutes • Clean both the front and back of your teeth. • Rinse thoroughly Repeat 2–3 times per week for several weeks to achieve noticeable results.

Here’s how it works: Hydrogen peroxide releases oxygen, which breaks down the chemical bonds in stain molecules. Baking soda provides gentle polishing properties, helping lift surface stains without damaging enamel.

When used consistently & safely, this technique can brighten your smile without the negative effects of stronger whitening treatments. Watch this video to learn more. I’ll also talk about oil pulling and the link between sugar, vitamin C, and leaky gums:

Don’t need the baking soda, H2O2 will do fine on its own. Swish for 30sec once a day for 14 days. In-office whitening with 35% gel will do a better job in 1 hour, but cost $500. No side effects except potential tooth sensitivity which goes away in less than 2 days. Gum irritation not an issue if the procedure is administered correctly. Tooth dehydration happens anytime you open your mouth for an extended period, i.e. dental cleanings, fillings, or even nightime mouth breathers, and also goes away within a few hours.

Baking soda workss. I’ve tried it.

Thank you @dr_ericberg 👏

You're most welcome!

When I consulted a dentist, he said teeth like mine need painting!😆

Food Grade, or conventional peroxide?
