Reparations is a must and college being accessible and free as well as healthcare and dental care (like in many European countries). Keep in mind not everyone is a tradesman so there needs to be Career Counselors to access students and have various tracks/training available for them based on interests and natural abilities. Taxes pay for weapons and war and it should be used to provide the basic necessities of the citizens. It’s been successful done historically and it’s possible for a country to thrive with a mixed economy while simultaneously providing basic needs for its citizens.

Both of these people are correct, and both are incorrect. It’s correct that younger generations were sold a false bill of goods regarding college degrees. We were expected (by society, educators, parents, and employers) to go to college, but—unlike in our parents’ generation—a college degree does not guarantee a good, stable career with upward mobility. Yet even still, for a long time, employers required college degrees (although that is finally thankfully shifting). Society and older generations also made the mistake of diminishing trade and vocational schools in favor of four-year degrees. It’s likewise correct that even though they were expected to go to college just to be competitive, younger generations didn’t have to go to private fancy schools. They could’ve just as easily gone to more affordable state universities, with the additional option to do the first two years at an even more affordable community college and then transfer to a state school to finish up the degree. They also didn’t have to study largely useless things. The appropriate thing to do in order to move forward is, in my opinion, not to cancel all student debt but to cancel all the interest, which is predatory. That only works, however, if we immediately reform the student loan system and stop federally guaranteeing student loans, which would ultimately force universities to make higher education more affordable. We also need to stop diminishing trade schools and start presenting those as an equally worthy and viable career path. Instead of encouraging everyone to “go to college so you can get a good job,” we should be encouraging only those whose career paths REQUIRE four-year degrees to go get them.

The U.S. government has quietly turned itself into the largest predatory lender in the world, raking in nearly $80 billion a year in interest while trapping kids in endless debt cycles. Carol Roth laid out a common-sense plan that President Donald J. Trump could implement to fix this problem basically overnight: “They go after teenagers who aren't old enough to vote or drink alcohol and enable the saddling of tens—sometimes hundreds—of thousands of dollars in debt to transfer wealth wholesale from young people to college administrators. Get the government out of student lending, go back to an underwriting process, and require colleges to be on the hook for at least a portion of it. A caller owes $430,000 in student loans... without becoming a doctor. (No degrees) Dave: How did you get that far into it and then not be able to pass the boards? Caller: I did fairly well in the first two years, but... being able to retain that and then recall it to the level of detail that I needed for the exams... I just couldn't put it all together at the end. Dave: Is there any way you can re-engage and still have a shot at finishing? Caller: Not without having to reapply and then go through the process all over again... and I'd have to take out more loans. Dave: So what has been your plan since then?" Caller: I was able to find a job as a substitute teacher, and I was hired as a high school biology teacher... but at this point I'm not sure. I thought about becoming a physician assistant, but that requires going into more debt. Dave: So what would it take to be a P.A. from where you are? Caller: I'd have to take another year of classes... then two and a half years for the program. That's probably another $60,000 to $70,000 plus living expenses." Dave: What about nursing? Caller: None of the med school work I've done applies to anything else. I have the debt... but none of the courses, none of it actually transfers to anything. Dave: Wow. The only thing I know to tell you is to assess some kind of a career. We obviously need to get to the point that we're making some good money to begin to pay this through. "I want to lead you toward something that's six figures to try to plow through this... maybe a hospital that would help pay off some of your student loans as part of a signing bonus." "I want to move you well beyond being a high school biology teacher to pay off $430,000 in debt." Caller: Exactly. I'm 34 years old... I have all this debt, no retirement, nothing at all. Dave: I'm not worried about that until we address your income. We've got to address your career track, which gets you to your income, which solves the debt problem, and then solves the retirement problem.

Bonus depreciation allows businesses to immediately deduct a large percentage of the cost of qualifying assets in the year they are placed in service, rather than spreading the deduction over several years. It falls under Section 168(k) of the Internal Revenue Code. When you actually read the Big Beautiful Bill “Cuts to Medicaid” you’ll realize every Democrat and mainstream media outlet is lying through their teeth No American would ever be against any of this, here are the facts “Here is just the first page of the cuts: -Cut number 1, saving $35 billion over 10 years. Limit federal health program eligibility based on citizenship status. That's just saying that people who are here illegally don't get to use Medicaid. It's something you have told us isn't happening anyway, so you obviously agree with that cut. - Cut number 2, eliminate Medicare coverage of bad debt, saving 42 billion over 10 years. Do you know what bad debt is? You probably don't, so let me explain it to you. Bad debt is where you have a debt with a hospital beyond what your coverage pays. So like let's say you have private health insurance. Now, your health insurance is going to pay their piece and then you have your leftover piece. Now if you don't pay that, that is what's known as bad debt. Now under no circumstances will your private health insur cover your bad debt. However, if you have Medicaid, the American taxpayer will cover up to 65% of that debt. Now, how hospitals use that to their advantage is they up the prices for people on Medicaid, therefore making that bad debt increase dramatically and the American taxpayer pays 65% of it. All this would say is that we're not going to do that anymore. Therefore hospitals can't charge more for people on Medicaid because they're not going to make any extra money from it. Who the is opposed to that? - Cut number 3: Next Medicare site neutrality set to save $148 billion over the 10 years. That one's actually really simple. All that says is the hospitals can't charge people on Medicare and Medicaid more. It just says they have to charge people on Medicare and Medicaid the same prices they charge people on private health insurance or cash. Is there anyone who's opposed to that? No, I didn't think so. Now, from just those 3, we're looking at $200 plus billion dollars in savings. Now, I imagine if I said we're going to cut $200 billion for Medicaid, y' all would freak the out.
