A recurring frustration with FSD 14.3.3 It still doesn’t remember previous behavior on roads I drive every day. In both of these clips, the car unnecessarily jumps into the left lane (Hurry mode) despite clear reasons not to: • Video 1: The lane is ending and blocked by construction barrels. • Video 2: The left lane is becoming a left-turn only. In both cases, it had to force its way back into the right lane with traffic all around. Definitely not ideal.

V14.2.1 highway regression vs 14.1. In standard mode, FSD makes a maneuver into the left lane to pass a semi truck. Because they have jailed the speed limits of non mad max profiles, FSD cannot use acceleration to make this pass. So it ends up camping the left lane. In my right side view mirror, you can see someone coming up on my ass, and FSD is not getting back over. It’s also not speeding up to pass the semi because it is in speed jail. I had to scroll mad max to get through the maneuver. Def a regression from 14.1.

FSD v14.3.7 doesn’t proceed on an advanced green This is the first time ever (?) that I have had FSD sit at a green light at not proceed. What’s also interesting is you can see the turn signal turn on for a second and then turn back off - but in the car the nav was 100% set to turn left. Any ideas? Has this ever happened to any of you.

Do you think the fireman was just angry and wanted to teach the cars owner not to park in a fire zone, or should he just have draped the hose over the car or around the front of the car. ?

FSD V14.1.7 | Near Accident This is without a doubt the closest I have come to getting into an accident in a long time. I think had I not taken over and slammed on the brakes we would not have slowed down in time. You can see that FSD does an incredible job reacting to the car (even before I noticed it) and was slowing down, but it was not slowing down enough to stop in time. As soon as I saw the car swerving to the right I worried she was going to bounce back into my lane so that is when I decided to go full on the brakes to stop the car. You can see prior to me taking over we were full regen braking (which is FSD reacting well) but it wasn't using any real brakes at all, and ABS was not active until I took over. Let me know what you all think in the comments. I still think FSD is incredible - the reality is if you watch the video the car saw and reacted to the situation before I did, it just didn't brake as agressively as it needed to in this situation. FSD + an attentive driver is without a doubt in my mind still safer than a normal human driver who is not using FSD.

This traffic circle has been a long-standing pain point for me on FSD. As you can see, the car consistently drives in the bike lane here. I’ve documented this behavior before on FSD 12, 13, and now 14. The issue appears to stem from outdated map data. This section of the circle used to function as a two-way roadway. At the time, there was no bike lane and vehicles traveled in the space FSD still prefers today. Since the redesign, that area is now a dedicated bike lane, but FSD doesn’t reliably recognize the change. Depending on the version, it will occasionally handle this correctly, but most of the time it does not. This is currently the only issue I consistently experience with FSD. It’s not safety critical. The car will move if a cyclist, vehicle, or object is present, but reliance on outdated map data in locations like this needs to improve.

FSD did not stop at the intersection. I drove 180 miles r/t to do this test and FSD was flawless the entire trip except for this intersection. I blame the speed limit, the bend in the road, the foliage, and the horrible design of this intersection. I still love FSD and wouldn’t have a car without it.

I had another FSD fail today. Going down the highway and we get to the dark skid marks and again FSD freaked out. Even though I was hovering my foot over the accelerator we went from 60 to 54 and got the red hands and warning alert to take over. Most of the time this doesn't happen but this is twice now the same thing has happened here. It seems to be OK if following another car but when we are the lead car this has happened twice. I'll be disengaging FSD just before these skid marks and then turn it back on once we have passed this spot until the next update comes out for V14.1 L

A pain 💔 and sleepless nights for 2 years that finally ended and was resolved in a week 🙏🏾 You may find that you are going through the same, read this 👇🏾 This client contacted View4You after battling for almost 2 years with MIOSA and dealership. We got involved, did the inspection and provided our report. MIOSA then ruled in favour of the client and said the car must be repaired. However the dealership did not repair the car as per ruling, we were grateful for the ruling however we felt it was unfair to rule that the dealership should repair, this ruling should have been a full refund or to replace the car as it was a lemon 🍋, unsafe to drive and not roadworthy!! Keep in mind this client has been paying insurance and instalments for a car she is not using, it’s either stuck in her yard or at the dealership 😔, the finance house had refused to uplift this deal and stated the client must sort it out with the dealership. We all know how that goes, it’s straight into a brick wall !! The dealership refused to repair the car, which made us happy because we knew where this will end up. The matter returned to MIOSA, MIOSA then issued a closing letter for the case to be escalated to The NCC. This did not sit well with our Founder, he then made some high-level calls to the finance house which was ABSA, and within a week this deal was uplifted and the process of paying the client back all their instalments started. This story is a reality many people in South Africa are faced with, they are driving lemons 🍋 🍋 because they trusted the dealership. So listen to these findings. ABSA does not finance salvaged cars. The dealership had lied to ABSA, as many others do to their financing houses, and sold this car as non-salvage and accident-free. That is why they did not entertain the client. The client then also didn’t know the car was a salvage car until we at View4You inspected the car and found out not only was it a salvage, this should be scrap metal, not roadworthy, unsafe, it was in a terrible accident🙏🏾 The culprits here are the Car Dealerships, they are not being honest with the finance houses !!! People of South Africa, you may be driving a salvage car that is financed illegally, you may be thinking why is this car so problematic? Well you could be a victim because you trusted the dealership and you are now driving a salvaged car unknowingly!!! If you bought a second-hand car and you did not get it Inspected wether financed or cash. Please get it checked, and get the history checks done as well.
