Traffic-stop education and de-escalation matter. Young drivers need preparation, but the responsibility to de-escalate cannot fall on teenagers alone. Officers carry that responsibility too. Education, accountability and de-escalation can save lives.

You don’t get to dictate the laws you want to follow. You don’t get to make a call, you don’t get to fight cops. You listen to their instructions and comply. If they do something wrong, you get to see the judge to discuss it.
