Statement by WAYNE OLIVEIRA Voc Tech School Committee Member on the Massachusetts Voc-Tech Admissions Lottery The implementation of a lottery-based admissions system for Massachusetts vocational-technical schools in 2026 has left many students and families deeply disappointed and disillusioned. While the intention behind this shift—to promote equity and expand access—may be well-meaning, the reality is that it has replaced a system based on effort, interest, and demonstrated commitment with one largely dependent on chance and luck. For years, students worked hard to earn their place in these highly sought-after programs by maintaining strong attendance, showing dedication, and actively preparing for a future in the trades. Today, many of those same students find themselves waitlisted or denied admission, not because they lacked motivation or ability, but simply because their name was not drawn. Families have described this transition as a “drastic jump from one extreme to the other,” moving away from merit entirely toward random choice. At the same time, the core issue remains unresolved: there are far more qualified applicants than available seats. Tens of thousands of students apply for just over ten thousand openings each year, meaning that regardless of the admissions method, many will be left out. Instead of addressing this shortage through expansion and investment, the state has chosen to redistribute opportunity through a system that many perceive as arbitrary and discouraging. This approach risks sending a troubling message to students—that hard work, consistency, and passion may not matter when pursuing certain educational paths. It also raises concerns about long-term impacts on student motivation and the development of a skilled workforce. A fair system should strive for both equity and recognition of effort. Massachusetts must re-evaluate this policy and consider solutions that balance opportunity with accountability—while also addressing the fundamental issue of limited access by expanding vocational education capacity. Students deserve more than a lottery. They deserve a system that reflects both fairness and the value of their hard work. If you feel this same way you need to make some noise! Reach out to the State Department of Education and your State Senator and Representative. Tell them this broken system needs to be fixed immediately.

I was in disbelief while watching Muhammad Yunus’s speech to the business community on the 12th of September. That speech had zero substance, was not at all rooted in reality — and was self-serving through and through. The news of factory closures for labour unrest, production being hampered for days on end, vandalism of factories and businesses, work orders and investments being diverted from Bangladesh and the overall dicey law and order situation — are truly alarming developments. And I assume the gathering of the business community was to send out a strong message from the head of the government that such anarchy, mob justice, lawlessness and belligerence will not be tolerated any further. Let alone a strong message he didn’t even touch upon this issue. In his address to the nation on the 8th of September, he touched upon this issue barely in passing — when it should have been one of the highlights of his speech. You’d have even missed it were you not listening in to the speech with rapt attention. One way to construe his disinterest in the issue is that he tacitly approves of this newfound belligerence and mob rule. Or else why would you not strongly condemn such acts — and pledge exemplary actions against the miscreants — that are kicking your economy towards the edge? I’d say Yunus’s speech was downright disrespectful and offensive — to the business community, to all those who lost their lives in the movement to ouster the Sheikh Hasina government, and to the generations before us who built Bangladesh into what it is today. By harping on and on about the great sacrifice that the students made, he disrespected those who died as most of them were not public university students. By not talking about the private sector’s most pressing issue and lecturing them to do social business, he disrespected the entire business community and the spirit of entrepreneurship that drives our nation. By calling Bangladesh a rotten country that needs building from the ground up, he disrespected the generations before us that carried Bangladesh over from 1971. The speech was a trashy attempt at tapping into people’s emotions and was full of empty words. And yes, there were quite a few inaccuracies in that speech. No, Mr Yunus, the students’ movement was not about building a new Bangladesh — it was always about reforming the quota system for government jobs. Sheikh Hasina’s resignation was always the public’s demand — and long before this movement started. What is most outrageous is that he says he has come to drill in the message that we have the chance to rebuild Bangladesh because of the students’ deaths. C’mon, how can you manipulate facts like this? This is not expected from someone of his stature. He says the business tycoons should be grateful to the students because they have opened up new opportunities, that the business community should use those new opportunities to realise the students’ dreams of building a new Bangladesh. He urges the business community not to tread on the wrong path thinking about the dead students. How ridiculous does this sound to a balanced, rational adult? How did this man make a living as a motivational speaker all these years? At this point, his non-stop eulogising of the students is coming across as exceedingly obsequious and artificial. We were all there before July 2024, we all fought the good fight.

Few public intellectuals have done more to warn Americans about how the coddling of children produces intolerant adults than Jonathan Haidt and Greg Lukianoff. Their 2018 book, The Coddling of the American Mind, argued that helicopter parenting, the decline of unsupervised play, and the rise of campus safetyism had set up a generation for failure. They warned that universities were teaching students three Great Untruths: that hardship makes you weaker, that you should always trust your feelings, and that life is a battle between good people and evil people. Haidt, a social psychologist and professor at NYU's Stern School of Business, has spent more than a decade documenting the link between fragility and authoritarianism. Lukianoff, the president of the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression, took over the group in 2006 and has spent two decades documenting censorship on American campuses. FIRE today operates with an annual budget above $32 million and a staff of 120, including roughly 20 lawyers. For exactly that reason, it was dispiriting to watch students at Haidt’s own university enact the behavior he and Lukianoff have spent a decade trying to combat. Graduates booed Haidt as NYU President Linda Mills welcomed him to the stage at Yankee Stadium on May 14, 2026. About three dozen students walked out of the venue while he spoke. The booing followed a May 5 open letter from the Executive Committee of the NYU Student Government Assembly, which called Haidt’s selection “deeply unsettling” and demanded that the administration reconsider its decision. Most revealingly, the committee complained that “many students have reported feelings of disappointment, disgust, unenthusiasm, defeat, and embarrassment,” language that mirrors the therapeutic vocabulary Haidt and Lukianoff diagnosed as the central pathology in Coddling. The students treated emotional discomfort with a speaker’s ideas as the equivalent of a physical threat. “Was he the safest option,” asked the students, without any apparent irony, “considering the current political climate and his critiques of liberal ideology?”.... We were just blocked from entering a public high school in Los Angeles to preach the gospel… And what happened next raises serious questions about discrimination against Christians and conservatives once again. Before the thousands of views, comments, and opinions — here’s the raw truth. Buckle up. Over the last two months, we’ve gone to nearly 30 public schools across Southern California. We’ve been invited by students, staff, and faculty to share during school hours at Christian clubs on campus. Thousands of students have responded to the gospel. Tears streaming down their faces, real salvation and even demons being casted out (that was the last controversy). Our heart is simple, to bless each school and make an eternal impact in the lives of students. Two days ago, I posted a video of students responding to Jesus at the previous school we visited. It’s reached millions of views online. The next morning, I received a message that a Los Angeles Unified School District board member had seen the video and is demanding it be taken down. The high crime of students coming to Jesus and being saved! God forbid! Problem number one: they thought it was filmed at the school we were scheduled to visit next. It wasn’t. Still, a call was arranged with faculty. We were told no audio or video recording on campus for the school we were visiting today. Problem number two: a quick search shows this same school has allowed other outside organizations to film and post content online. That is clear discrimination. Just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse. They only allowed two members of our four person team onto campus today. I was escorted into a private room with multiple faculty members and given a list of restrictions. Is this communist Cuba or North Korea? That was a legit thought at one point. We made our way to the classroom and I preached the gospel, it was powerful! And right as I was about to invite students forward — a loud fire alarm went off. You can’t even make this up. Coincidence? Most likely, right? I thought this ordeal was over but I was wrong. As I was praying for students after the club ended, a faculty member interrupted and told these specific students they had to leave for class immediately. Then that same faculty member stepped off school property onto public property in front of the school and approached our team members who had been barred from coming onto the campus. Why did he do that? To try to intimidate us as our team was praying for the students walking by! Friends, this is the United States of America. We must stand for both our constitutional rights and God given authority. Let me be clear, what’s our response? We aint backing down and NEVER will! If this matters to you, would you share this video so that the eyes of the world would see? It’s revival or we die and I choose revival!

Impact After Term | 14 : Turning Observation into Action — Expanding the Chief Minister's Breakfast Scheme to 1,350 Additional Students in Madurai Corporation Schools Sometimes, meaningful public policy begins with a simple observation. In August 2023, while inaugurating the second phase of the Chief Minister's Breakfast Scheme in Madurai district, Dr. Dr P Thiaga Rajan (PTR) interacted with Vishva, a Class VII student at the Government Kallar School in Muthupatti. During the interaction, he realised that while students up to Class V were covered under the scheme, many older students studying on the same campus continued to begin their school day without breakfast. Having himself studied in a boarding school, Dr. PTR understood the discomfort this could create among students and resolved that every child studying on the same campus should benefit from the scheme. After learning that 28 of Madurai Corporation's 64 schools had primary and upper-grade students studying on the same campus, Dr. PTR immediately requested the Corporation to pass a resolution extending breakfast support to all students in these schools, without placing any additional financial burden on the Corporation. He also directed officials to estimate the additional expenditure and personally mobilised CSR support, enabling the expansion to be implemented across all 28 schools within just 22 days. Today, an additional 1,350 students from Classes VI to XII receive breakfast every school day under this initiative. The programme continued with the same vendors, ensuring uniform quality of meals while also providing sufficient food for teaching and non-teaching staff. The success of the Madurai model was later reflected in the DMK's 2026 Election Manifesto, which included expanding the Chief Minister's Breakfast Scheme as a statewide commitment. Dr. PTR was a member of the manifesto drafting committee. What began with a simple observation evolved into a practical policy intervention—demonstrating how attentive leadership can strengthen an existing government programme, extend its reach, and improve the lives of hundreds more children without imposing an additional burden on the public exchequer. — Admin Team

Students of Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Patiala are on a protest. About 400 of them are sitting at campus on 3rd day facing extreme hot weather, against the various systemic complaints against the Vice -Chancellor Mr. Jai Shankar Singh. The Vice Chancellor entered the female students’ hostel unannounced. He has earlier asked female students to take easy subjects! He is known to ask female teachers to come in ‘Hindustani Poshak’ and has repeatedly commented on the dresses of the students. Allegedly he showed complete lack of apathy when a few months earlier, there was an accident which resulted in the loss of lives of a few students. He is said to have commented ‘if you party late at night, what else do you expect.’ He has also commented on the financial status of students asking them why have they enrolled in an expensive college if their parents can’t pay the fee. This was said to a student who is a batch topper and is on scholarship, when there was a slight delay in making the payment of the college fees. What’s shocking is that there is so much administrative pressure on the students who are protesting that they are not being permitted to meet anyone. There are implied threats to students who speak to anyone , in terms of their marks deductions in upcoming exams. Students have appealed to the Visitor of the University- Justice Surya Kant, Hon’ble Judge of the Supreme Court ; and Chancellor Justice Sheel Nagu, Hon’ble Chief Justice of Punjab & Haryana High Court, to take cognisance of the matter and immediately expel the Vice Chancellor. The questions before us are - - Is closing down the institute a good way to deal with the situation? - Why protect the Vice - Chancellor, when there is clear cut violation of law. - It’s not a one off incident that students are complaining off. Why hand over the top institutes in such hands ? When he was a dean of law at Allahabad University, he was given a notice for entering a female teachers home at odd hours for expediting the last semester exam. - What about the Systemic Issue -Casual Sexism At Law School ? - What about the implementation of POSH? What happens when the complaint is against the top boss ? - What we see is the classic Anatomy of a people’s’ movement - divide the students ; show them fears about their careers ; call the POLICE and then close the university down. - Why does the boss always go scot-free ? - What’s the point of law if the accused are always protected by those in power ? - When was the training of POSH last done at university? If it is mandatory under POSH, then what happens when institutes/organisations don’t follow it ? - Character assassination - the classic ploy to respond to when female students raise any complaint, how long will this be tolerated? - What are we teaching them as students of constitutional law ? If as students of law, they can’t protest for their own rights, how are they expected to fight for the rights of others tomorrow? Remember, great institutions are not judged by the decorum of dress but the strength of character. Questions galore but here in support of these students and will always stand for the right fight! #RGNUL #protest #Patiala #JaiShankar

A case is going to the Supreme Court over a public New Jersey Middle School indoctrinating their students to Islam During class the students were taught - How to convert to be a Muslim and find their own Mosque - Having students declare there is no god but Allah and Muhammad is his messenger - May God help us all find the true faith, Islam - The Noble Quran. Divine revelation sent to Muhammad, last prophet of Allah, a perfect guide for humanity - The Noble Quran, without any doubt, an eloquent guide from Allah and Islam, a shining beacon against the darkness of repression segregation, intolerance, and racism - Praising Mohammed for killing nonbelievers “This was in a school. Even worse, the background music in one of the videos shown to the seventh graders featured the Qasida al-Burda, an Arabic poem that describes Christians and Jews as infidels and praises Muhammad in graphic detail for killing them. That wasn’t even the only video they were forced to watch. The next video explicitly instructed the students on how to recite the Muslim profession of faith, the Shahada and how to convert to Islam. It also taught them how to organize their own mosque tours. Mrs. Hilsenrath later discovered that her son had been given homework: a fill-in-the-blank worksheet that was nothing less than the Shahada itself, declaring there is no god but Allah and Muhammad is his messenger. The seventh-grade class was made to recite it aloud and write it down” The case is going to the Supreme Court “This is from the Thomas Moore Law Center that's petitioning the Supreme Court to reverse a lower court decision in an eight-year saga that all began in 2017 when Libby Hilsenrath discovered that her 12-year-old son was being shown propaganda videos at his middle school in New Jersey. Way over the line Islamic propaganda videos.”

"Dear Compatriots, As you know, the common people were holding protests across the country today demanding the resignation of this illegal, murderous government. But the Awami League, Jubo League and Chhatra League goons have disrupted our peaceful programme and fired indiscriminately at us in broad daylight. The last we heard, at least a hundred people were shot dead across the country. Dictator Sheikh Hasina must take responsibility for this massacre today -- and since the 15th of July. The people of Bangladesh did not vote for this government in the last three elections. The ongoing tsunami of protest against this government proves that 99 per cent people of the country hate this government. They are now holding on to power by killing innocent people with less than a percentage of armed and powerful people. Therefore, it is the moral responsibility of the international community to stand by the common people of Bangladesh and create international pressure to oust this fascist, murderous and authoritarian government before this series of massacres takes the form of genocide. We call upon the free world, the United Nations and in fact the world as a whole to immediately support our one-point demand: which is the resignation of Sheikh Hasina. We the students are not fighting for power. We don't have an iota of greed for it. We just want to establish for our generation and the future generations a just democratic state system where everyone can grow up with equal opportunities and rights. We are ready to give our lives for this. The people of the country have shown unprecedented solidarity in our movement. Now, the participation of common people is more than the students in this movement. We are overwhelmed by the incredible courage shown by children and the elderly, the women and the common man in joining this movement. We have seen how the youths are defying the bullets and conquering death with smiles on their faces, we have seen thousands of nameless labourers and toilers standing at the forefront of our march. We no longer fear the bullets. The more they fire at us, the more steadfast our resolve becomes -- this is igniting anger and hatred against this government like a gunpowder. Dear countrymen, you have already driven out the police forces of this government from many cities. Your next destination is Dhaka. Starting now, I urge all of you to head towards Dhaka. All of us will protest in Dhaka on Monday. You must be aware that the fascist, murderous and authoritarian Awami League regime has issued a curfew from 6 pm today. That was not out of concern for the safety of people and property but to safeguard its own party office and illegal government. But this government has no constitutional or moral right to take any such decision by violating the fundamental rights of the people. Therefore, let us all reject this curfew -- with hatred, with vigour. If Sheikh Hasina's forces fire at us, we will be forced to peacefully march towards Gono Bhaban to bring down the government. Together we shall be victorious!"

Speaking in the Steel Industry (Special Measures) Bill debate today, we should all focus on the requirement to save the jobs of those 3,500 people who have this threat hanging over them. China is pushing to shut down British steel industries, pushing forward to shut down the blast furnaces in the UK. Far too many countries like China have abused the rules of the free market, have subsidised their industries ridiculously, and have used slave labour to produce products. When that happens, the free market is dead. China now itself is suffering from an overproduction of steel. Their own housing industry has gone static on them, and they were one of the biggest users of the steel produced by China. Where is that steel going to go? It’s no surprise that a Chinese company Jingye is involved in this, because by pushing forward to shut down the blast furnaces in the UK, they know that we will have to buy slab steel from China. This is not a coincidence. This is all part of the plan. We must recognise that we will have to deal with those whom we trust and who do not break the rules. That means a whole rethink of the Government’s China policy. The previous Conservative Government should never have awarded it the contract, and I warned them about that. It is time for us to make sure that we deal with China at face value and do not accept the pretence that this company is private or in any way detached from its Government. That is a critical point. Cheap Chinese steel is a desperate problem for us, and we need to work with other countries in dealing with it. We also need to get our costs down. On Net Zero, I hope that the Secretary of State will tell the Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero that we cannot go on like this. #BritishSteel

American Pilot Can No Longer Stay Silent about The Kamala Harris Admin, “This needs to be heard” Hurricane Helene “Do not believe anything the government is telling you — There were hundreds of more people that were recently found and people are entombed in their cars, — They'll never be found in some cases and it's just heartbreaking.” “I think you need to know. I spent the early part of this week flying supplies in our bush planes. Me and some other guys kind of put together an effort in conjunction with Operation AirDrop — Do not believe anything the government is telling you. I have personally been up there for the first part of the week and there isn't any government up there. Your current administration is not up there.” “This is current administration because they wanted to politicize this thing. And I hate being political, but I'm going to be for a second. Decided that they would issue a TFR yesterday. And so while people are up there that could be within the last hour of their life, for the most part, the airspace was shut down. So any search and rescues that were going on, they had to stop. Planes couldn't fly because they had a TFR because some politician that wants to run for office has got to get their face on there and get a picture for the media to show that they've been there. Well, let me tell you something. They're not doing anything to help me and they're not trying to help, they're not doing anything to help the people that need it.” “It's one of the saddest things I've ever seen and the look on the folks faces that I saw when I got out of the airplane and unloaded the first goods to some people that hadn't seen anybody yet. It was it was something that I that'll live with me forever and I can't describe it.”

The TRUTH about 9/11 is coming out and nothing can stop it. The 9/11 documents declassification will prove beyond the shadow of a doubt that the U.S. government, along with other foreign intelligence agencies knew and were directly responsible for the planned terror attacks that occurred on September 11, 2001. Not only was $2.3 TRILLION dollars missing from our countries budget, but the very next day after that announcement the WTC twin towers were hit with planes, WTC building 7 was also brought down with explosives in a controlled demolition, and the Pentagon was hit with many believe was not a plane, but in fact a missile, which just happen to directly hit exactly where the audit was taking place at the Pentagon for the missing $2.3 TRILLION dollars. I could go on for hours about all of the evidence, abnormalities, and basic physics and them wiring up the buildings weeks before as specific individuals posing as "art students," prepared the buildings for demolition. Yes, "The E-Team," IYKYK. This was a known, planned operation that every well informed elite and intelligence official knew well in advanced that this was going to happen. The U.S. government knew and committed mass murder. Why do you think the WTC buildings owner Larry Silverstein took out the largest insurance policy possible just days before the towers fell? He knew they were going to fall, just like many others. When I say the U.S. government, I mean the individuals who infiltrated our great country and our government who are members of the deep state global cabal. The same one's responsible for all the child trafficking and slow destruction of our own country who are all mostly compromised themselves by other nations, or sold us out to the highest bidder, the bankers, the globalist, the "families," etc. And if you follow me, you most likely know exactly the people I'm talking about. It's all coming out, and nothing can stop it. Be patient and have faith because we're just getting started. There are no coincidences. They can run, but they can't hide. There will be NO MERCY or DEALS for traitors against the United States or its people. Period.

🔔 BREAKING NEWS Undeniable Proof Out Of Georgia That Dominion Voting Is Rigging United States Elections. Confirmed With A Hand Count Of Ballots, This Is SHOCKING 🚨 🔥🔥 Arizona’s House is on Fire and the only way to put it out in Maricopa is a statewide ballot initiative for Election Day HANDCOUNTS no machines…just like America had for hundreds of years! Join for this & for #RecallHobbs #RecallFontes🌵🌵 “The result from the Dominion machine showed Lorne Alexander received 34.67% of the vote, Marshall Orson receiving 41.35% of the vote, and Michelle Longspears receiving 23.98% of the vote. The result from the Dominion machine showed Lorne Alexander received 34.67% of the vote, Marshall Orson receiving 41.35% of the vote, and Michelle Longspears receiving 23.98% of the vote. In Georgia, if one candidate doesn't get above 50% of the vote total, a runoff election is automatically held between the two top candidates. Meaning Michelle Longspierce was cut out of the race. But Michelle Longspierce felt odd about the numbers, so she visited different precincts to double check the tallies. Guess what? She noticed that in some precincts she didn't receive a single vote. But how is that possible that a candidate with 24% of the vote total finds precincts where she didn't receive a single vote? While statistically alarming, the real surprise came when she realized there was not one vote cast for her in her own precinct, the same one where she and her husband voted for herself. Spears immediately demanded a hand recount of the results and got one. On June 1st the results were released and the difference between the Dominion machine count and the hand count was shocking. After the hand count Lauren Alexander gained 355 votes, Orson lost 1298 votes and Spears actually gained 3620 votes making her the new runoff candidate. And here's the best part, when you add them all up the hand count shows 2810 votes more than the Dominion machines reported on the 24th. This is huge. In a small county commissioners race with 15 and a half thousand votes total, the Dominion machine tally was short by nearly 3,000 votes. What does that say about all the other races that were conducted on these very same machines? This is proof that the machines cannot be trusted. If Spears had not sounded the alarm, no one would have been able to do this.” Credit: Wall Street Apes
