The Greatest Texas Tech Football Player To Wear The Number 19 Taurean Henderson Taurean Henderson was one of the most versatile and productive players in Texas Tech football history, starring as a running back from 2002–05 under head coach Mike Leach. In his four-year career, Henderson rushed for 3,241 yards and 50 touchdowns on 587 carries, while adding 303 receptions for 2,058 yards and 19 receiving touchdowns. Altogether, he accumulated 5,299 yards from scrimmage and 69 total touchdowns, averaging 6.0 yards every time he touched the ball. Henderson's career was filled with records. He finished with 414 points, still one of the most prolific scoring totals in Texas Tech history, and his 69 touchdowns were a school record. But win, lose or draw, no one has captivated college football like Coach Prime, Shedeur Sanders, Travis Hunter and Colorado. Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter both made plays against Baylor when their team and Coach needed them the most. They made those plays in the biggest moments of the game because prime time players, make prime time plays in prime time moments. Deion Sanders is Prime Time and his influence rubs off on his entire program. A lot of people wondered why Colorado’s fans rushed the field after beating a 2-1 Baylor team. They rushed the field because they know what it was like before Coach Prime and his Louis luggage showed up. There were no season ticket sell outs since 1996. With Deion, season tickets are sold out for the second straight year. School applications are up 20% with a 50.5% increase in Black student applicants. Colorado made $113.2 million from its 2023 home games alone, which led to a 51% increase in revenue through media rights with Coach Prime at the helm. Before Coach Prime, no one searched for a Colorado game. Last year alone Colorado averaged 7.2 Million viewers per game, with 5 games ranked in the 25 most watched college Football games of the year. That trend continues this year as well. Coach Prime turned the worst Power 5 school in the country into one that PEOPLE CARE ABOUT. Win or lose. You watch. Cheering for or against. You watch. However, his biggest accomplishment isn’t making the Colorado Buffaloes relevant again. His biggest accomplishment is empowering the young men in his program to believe in themselves, trust God and rejuvenating an entire city in the face of massive push back against his style. Deion Sanders took 2 HBCU football players in Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter and helped coach them into 2 of the best players in the country who are both in the Heisman race. Took multiple HBCU football players and helped coach them into high level Power 5 starters who have NFL futures. You see the thing about Coach Deion Sanders is he is just as misunderstood as he was as a player. With him, you earn what you get and every single player in his program knows that. On a deeper level, watching him coach his son’s is inspirational. What Deion and Lebron have done for their families and their son’s should be celebrated. As fathers they weren’t just there, they were active. They didn’t just have the title of baby daddy, they are fathers. Black Fatherhood has long been mischaracterized as absent and negative. It’s amazing to see Black Fatherhood today on the highest levels be characterized as present and supportive.

Andrew Henry was one of the most underrated RB’s to enter the draft and he’s STILL somehow unsigned. Henry was injured in 2023, yet came back and impressed, but was ruled ineligible for the 2024 season. Just a few months ago, Henry received a LAST-SECOND invite to the East-West Shrine Bowl and had to study the playbook overnight, before totaling 68 rushing yards in the game (2nd most of any rusher in attendance). Henry says that his game is "modeled after" Barry Sanders and Jahmyr Gibbs, but sees himself being used like Bucky Irving at the NFL level. Not to mention, both Henry's 10-yard split (1.51) and bench press (22 reps) would've been 2nd among all RB's at the NFL Combine. The New Mexico RB deserves a SHOT 😳

Officer Pulls 17 year old out of a car and challenges him to fight him because the teen yelled F the police at him. When 17-year-old Brandon Hughes decided to yell thr phrase F*ck the police out of a car window as it passed local law enforcement in Georgia, he likely expected a standard teenage thrill. He probably didn't expect the full-blown, traffic stop that followed along with an officer in his face. Following the shouted insult, officers initiated a traffic stop on the black Jeep containing Hughes and his friends. What happened next quickly crossed the line from a standard law enforcement interaction into a personal vendetta. Officer James Sanders of the Social Circle Police Department didn't just write a warning or issue a verbal lecture through the window. Instead, he pulled 17-year-old Hughes out of the vehicle entirely. Sanders chose to address the teenager's statement directly, bringing up the teen's past behavior in court and demanding to know why Hughes chose to yell at them when neither officer on scene had ever mistreated him. When 17-year-old Brandon Hughes decided to yell thr phrase F*ck the police out of a car window as it passed local law enforcement in Georgia, he likely expected a standard teenage thrill. He probably didn't expect the full-blown, traffic stop that followed along with an officer in his face. Following the shouted insult, officers initiated a traffic stop on the black Jeep containing Hughes and his friends. What happened next quickly crossed the line from a standard law enforcement interaction into a personal vendetta. The power of the Media was on full display yesterday. How a Prospect can end the season as the potential #1 pick, have no injury nor scandal, and yet fall completely out of the 1st Round is a phenomenon that should be studied, if not a crime that should be investigated. Also on display yesterday, Shedeur’s poise and strength. In what had to be a heartbreaking ordeal, his ability to handle the pressure and scrutiny (skills needed to be the Face of a Franchise) shone through. He’ll use it as motivation: entering this League with a HUGE chip on his shoulder that he will never remove. The only thing that changed is that he's no longer politically viable. His poll numbers went down to the point where it wasn't politically palatable to say that this redemption tour was going to be good for America anymore…. He's, he's never actually taken accountability for any of these things. a clipped video from a podcast is making it's rounds showing WR Tetairoa McMillan saying: "I don't watch football... I don't like watching film either" the host said it was "from the offseason" as if it was a recent recording I want to clear this up: the video was filmed TWO YEARS AGO after his freshman year when he was 19 He talked on the full behind-the-scenes video (link below, published Apr 2023) about how his goal is a 1,000 yard season He then recorded back-to-back 1,300+ yard seasons McMillan will turn 22 next week He's probably changed a since spring 2023 and regardless of his current 2025 take on watching football/film, just wanted to clarify the video was NOT McMillan talking this offseason but a 19 year old after his freshman year several years ago
