British Prime Minister Keir Starmer arrived in Shanghai on Friday to continue his trip to China. In a light drizzle, he strolled through Yuyuan Garden. He watched the lantern festival at the garden and then tried Shanghai’s famous palmier. He also visited the Jiuquqiao and the Huxinting. This is the first trip by a British Prime Minister to China for eight years.

A British company can take out a Facebook ad to sell a British product to a British consumer, and Facebook pretends to be in Ireland on that transaction. On Amazon, you can buy something from a British supplier from a British warehouse, and Amazon pretends to be in Luxembourg in that situation.
