21 years ago this week, #EarlyDoors aired for the very first time 🎂

One of the best written and delivered comedies of all time but sadly overlooked by most people in the UK.

Opening scene is Ken cleaning the urinals singing The Greatest Love of All and just as he does so he sings the line….”you can’t take away my dignity….” Genius 👏👏

It’s simply beautiful. Brings back such warm, joyous memories of my late wife and I watching and banking a trove of catchphrases.

What a series!

The best written and the best cast..hands down…To The Regiment !

I've watched this series about a million times and it nevers gets boring 👌

The time gap between this episode and now is longer than the gap between the song referenced and this episode. I can’t cope.

And we all dig out the DVDs on a regular basis to remind us what quality comedy is.

So relatable and just makes me want to get down to my local.
