Not correct on throw to outfield. Feet need to shift toward outfield with left foot now on outfield side of base. Gives 1st baseman wider range to get bad throw toward outfield. On your example he’s crossing left foot over right. Never desired to cross over.

I did not know that defensive players can use the 'running' or 'safety' base that is in foul territory. Good to know!
