Like this… I used to tell my hitters to feel the ball of their stride foot be the first thing to touch down… it always amazed me how important wording was for instruction.. phrasing that worked for one didn’t work for others. Had to find that phrase that “clicked” for each

I like this a lot, my son is only 5, but I’m going to try the toe in the water/tire the next time we are hitting and will introduce the 3rd down the line.
