3:30PM: Watching developing storms well south of the metroplex. This area will have the highest chance of heavy rain, small hail and gusty winds over the next several hours. I'm not excluding the metroplex from the rain chance, it's just much better the farther south you go.

Rian chances go up on Sunday. Scattered rain & storms will be on and off through the day... Not 100% coverage all day. There will be dry hours. Rain chances climb more late Sunday through Monday morning as a cold front comes in. Heavy rain & gusty winds with some of the storms.

A few storms are still expected to pop up west of the metroplex this evening. One or two could produce up to quarter size hail or 60mph wind gusts. The expectation is for the storms to be stronger west of the metroplex and gradually weaken on their approach to the metroplex.

Scattered rain and a few thunderstorms will roll in later tonight. Western sections of NTX will have the stronger storm potential nd heavier rain. Much of this weakens by the time it gets to the metroplex overnight and into early Thursday morning.
