Brilliant song, I saw her as a backing singer for Pink Floyd at Earls Court in the 90s..great gig in the sky was amazing 👍🏻

Didn't like this when I was 12, but it's a hell of a vocal performance on reflection...

What a voice. Saw her at Cambridge Corn Exchange and she was immense

Brilliant. Loved Sam’s voice. Daughter of legendary Joe Brown too! 🎶

One of my absolute favourites ❤️

What a song. One of my favourites. 👏🏻👏🏻

I made a record with her mum & dad

I have one of her belts. Me mother has preserved it, all the while.

Wonderful song

Happy memories of this song but not for the music but sadly to explicit to add to this post..... Sorry. Thanks for the reminder though 👍👍👍

She's the better voice of the 80's

@wolvesbradders And my mate, Andy Collett, played it over & over again on the juke box in the Pigs Bar at Wyton.

❤🥺

@1980sRewind Hang on. 38 years ago?

Have been singing this today as randomly popped into my mind.

What a voice Sam had, probably still has....👌

Great song, she was a good singer!!

Belter

Daughter of Vicki Brown

Beautiful song!! And an amazing singer 🎤🎼

Shame she miming

It’s a music video

Like her Dad, she can belt out a number can Sam!

Great tune. I like Kissing Gate too but never gets played

It was released in January 1989

Thanks | feel old now, and I do remember it well

My late father & her dad Joe were good pals. Joe was always around our house & the pair of them playing guitars. I had no idea he was famous until I saw Joe on blankety blank once & asked "whats uncle Joe doing on the telly" Everyone laughed but I had no idea? 🤣 Lovely bloke

I loved this song thank you for the reminder will listen on @Spotify I had the tape in my car and loved the last song ‘Oh how I love my cup of tea’

Belter 🙌🥰

What a song! 🤍

Never heard this before, but I like....

She was so underrated in the 80s

Fantastic song and Sam kicks the guts right out of it. Such a strong, clean voice. Her strongest ever song was “The great gig in the sky” on the Pink Floyd live album “Pulse” together with Durga McBroom and Claudia Fontaine. Saw her do this live. Incredible!

Sad her career was curtailed
