9. Skip breakfast. Some people call this intermittent fasting. I just call it skipping breakfast. Don't make it so complicated. Intermittent fasting is just reducing the number of meals you have. So just skip breakfast. You aren't hungry in the morning anyway.

Before we start the thread: Here is the cardinal rule of weight loss: Calories in, calories out. Yes, cardio will increase the calories out part of it. But you will feel super hungry after cardio. Plus, almost nobody can sustain hard cardio for more than a couple of months.

1. Snack Swapping. My guilty pleasure: Chocolate. But the truth is snacking causes massive calorie spikes. If you also experience snacking syndrome, I highly recommend you swap your favorite snacks for healthy snacks. Example: Candy -> Fruits Chips -> Air-popped popcorn.

2. Diet soda is king. I cannot live without soda. Yes, call me weak; I freaking love soda. But soda is super high in calories for something that is just liquid. Opt for diet soda. Instant weight loss without doing any form of cardio. 10 minutes run or diet soda? Your choice.

3. Increase Step Count. Don't start with hard-ass cardio. Start by simply increasing your step count. By simply increasing your step count, you will burn calories like nothing else. Why do hard-ass cardio when you are used to sitting for 8 hours straight.

4. Reduce alcohol consumption. Beer bellies. What more do I have to say? I'm not telling you to cut out alcohol. But reduce it. I used to drink into oblivion every weekend. I also used to be overweight. If you reduce alcohol, you become healthier in the body and mind.

5. High Protein & Fiber Meals. If your big meals are hamburgers and pizza, you are not going to lose weight. They've got to be high in fiber and high in protein. It fills you up more and keeps you satiated for longer. Example meal: Egg-white omelet with spinach and toast.

6. Drink more water. When you are hungry, are you actually hungry or are you just thirsty? Often times when you drink some water whenever you are hungry, the cravings for food will disappear. Besides that, I also think that most people are severely under hydrated.

7. Focus on Food Volume. Eat foods that have a low amount of calories for the volume you are consuming. Think of: • Leafy greens (spinach, kale, lettuce) • Cauliflower rice • Watermelon and berries • Cucumber and celery sticks • Air-popped popcorn

8. Have a weekly goal. You've got to have something you are aiming for. Vision creates clarity. Also, your weekly weight is what matters, not how you weigh day by day. Day-by-day fluctuations. The end of the week shows your real progress. So have a weekly goal.

10. Sneaky Calories: Condiments. So you are eating healthy. Salads, air-fried chicken, lots of veggies. But now you add Caesar dressing to it, or you dip it in mayo. Boom. You just added 100-200 calories to your otherwise healthy meal. Opt-in for diet options, or salsa sauce.

11. Work out to increase calories burned. Last but definitely not least: Work out. Yep, when you have more muscles, you will burn more fat by default. It is much harder to keep the weight off if you don't have a lot of muscle. You don't need to be Arnold; just some muscle.
