The amount of water from the Rain hitting or flowing along that roof tile(drilled) has been drastically reduced. Especially if the solar panels are installed from the roof ridge(red) Unless water travels upwards I doubt there will be leaks.

Let's ruin a lifetime roof for a solar panel that won't last ten years ... Brilliant!

How do you know that will leak? Have you done this before? Or is only a theory of your mind trying to predict the future?

Right! As a professional roofer, never let anyone penetrate your roof. You're just asking for problems. Put it in the yard!

Putting solar panels on a house roof is a bad mistake.

Its a solid approach actually . I've seen Solar water panels almost 40 years old mounted to spanish roof tiles , no leaks . Adhesive nowadays is made ridiculously well , has been for decades

Houses don't last a life time. At most 40 years they are either abandoned or pulled down for better development. It is only old churches that last hundreds of years

When the wind blows and those panels start shaking around

Fale sobre algo que você não conhece amigo. Isso é certamente uma instalação no Brasil. Eu tenho propriedade para te assegurar que essa instalação não vai deixar entrar água. Está muito bem instalado dessa forma.

Looks like clay roof tiles. It leaks as soon the clay gets wet enough.

These kind of houses are not strong build, they make noise even when you are walking within and installing this kind of heavy weight panel makes it more pron to be damaged during the bad weather.

The mounting bases must be secured to the top of the roof tiles using a silicone sealing ring to prevent water infiltration caused by pooling in the channels. Furthermore, the screws must be anchored directly into the wooden rafters or battens of the underlying roof structure.

Needs hangers under the tiles into rafters than move the tiles back into place surely?

The solar panels will keep the water off, besides the building department is more concerned that the panels might be flammable for some reason.

Yeah wtf who even does this should be fitted under the tile with a proper bracket
