@PunchbowlNews @JakeSherman As recently as the Trump administration, the debt ceiling was raised three times in a clean bill, without negotiations. Does @CNBC think its viewers are historically illiterate?

@PunchbowlNews @JakeSherman "In modern times" seems to be missing the last three clean debt ceiling increases. Hmm, wonder why those weren't DOA.

@PunchbowlNews @JakeSherman NOWHERE does Jake Sherman, a “reporter”, tell us what’s actually in the bill Rs passed, or what will happen IF the debt ceiling dies. It’s always, and ONLY, horse race, horse race, horse race. “Politics is chaos” How does this serve the public? Isn’t that his job?

@PunchbowlNews @JakeSherman President Trump: “I can’t imagine anybody ever even thinking of using the debt ceiling as a negotiating wedge… that’s a sacred element of our country, they can’t use the debt ceiling to negotiate.”

@PunchbowlNews @JakeSherman How about wearing a neon sign around your neck saying I'm a shill for McCarthy.

@PunchbowlNews @JakeSherman WTH? Tell Wall Street to tell the Republicans to pass a clean bill to raise the debt ceiling. How hard is that? How many times did they do it during the Trump Presidency? Hey WALL STREET do you really want the Republicans to take us off a cliff?
