This right here is exactly what I felt when I tried switching my main phone from iPhone to Android last year. The apps on Android are so bad they don’t even feel like they’re made for your phone. Plus many apps on Android simply lack a lot of features compared to iOS. For example, on WhatsApp on iOS, I can quickly swipe left on a message in a group chat to see which members have received and/or read my message. On Android, it takes a long press and 2 additional taps to access the same info. This was such a deal breaker for me who’s in a lot of group chats.

🥲 Dua Lipa refused to take a photo using a fan’s Android The singer quietly handed the device back to its owner and took another fan’s iPhone to snap the picture. However, some online users suggest she simply didn’t know how to use the Android and accidentally locked it — rather than doing it on purpose. There’s another version as well — Dua Lipa actively collaborates with Apple and allegedly has a special contract that prevents her from publicly using phones of another brand.

Mark Zuckerberg showed a fingerprint-activated keychain-sized AI device "Muse Charm" designed to bypass the phone entirely. > roughly 2-inch display and runs a new operating system designed to bring Muse to life on its own hardware. > packs Muse's real-time voice and avatar stack into dedicated hardware. > can be held in the center of a palm and navigated with a thumb on its OLED touch screen. > has 5G connectivity, although Meta hasn't published a complete public specification sheet. > “holdable” rather than a wearable. > It can sit on your wrist, go inside a pocket, or connect to a bag or keychain with a lanyard. The see-through case reveals the electronics within. > No pricing details yet. > With cameras on both the front and back, Muse Charm captures photos and video while mainly giving Muse visual context for analysis and AI-assisted actions. Users can review what they capture on the device. It also supports music and video playback, plus speakers, microphones and a USB-C port. That hardware doesn't replace Muse's agent architecture, because the service already uses a dedicated cloud VM, browser, connected apps, and user permissions. Instead, Muse Charm turns that same agent into a one-touch physical endpoint, shortening the gap between noticing something and asking Muse to act. The product is still early, since Zuckerberg said only a few units exist and Meta is still finalizing parts of the hardware despite its December-26 target. --- (full video on official Meta YT channel)

CLAUDE TOOK A FULL PC GAME, REBUILT IT FROM THE GROUND UP, AND GOT IT RUNNING NATIVELY ON ANDROID IN 6 HOURS a guy pointed claude at slay the spire 2, a game he owns on steam, and it ported the whole thing to his phone almost completely on its own here's what claude did: > it pulled apart the game and recompiled it to native arm, no emulator, wine, or proton used > wrote the code, ran the build loop, and debugged it directly on the device itself > added full touch controls that feel like a real mobile game, not awkward on screen buttons > and he even built a tool on top to sync save files between his desktop and phone a couple prompts and 6 hours. it handled the extraction, the cross compile, the building and the on device debugging by itself. fully playable, not a single crash yet

JOHN TERNUS HOSTS HIS FIRST APPLE $AAPL EVENT AS CEO TOMORROW The last person to change the shape of the iPhone did it by taking things away: Steve Jobs deleted the keyboard, the buttons and the stylus in 2007, then handed the whole front of the phone to the software. "We're going to use the best pointing device in the world. We're going to use a pointing device that we're all born with. We're born with ten of them." He said the result was five years ahead of anything on any other phone. Nineteen years later every iPhone is still that same design. Bigger screens, better cameras, faster chips, same rectangle. Apple is expected to fold it in half tomorrow, with a passport-style design and a near-8-inch display when opened. Nobody has shipped a folding phone yet without a visible crease down the middle.

Elon Musk: “I am not working on a phone. I can tell you where I think things will go, which is that we’re not going to have a phone in the traditional sense. What we’ll call a phone will really be an edge node for AI inference with some radios to connect. Essentially, you’ll have AI on the server side communicating with AI on your device—formerly known as a phone—and generating real-time video of anything you could possibly want. There won’t be operating systems or apps in the future; it’ll just be a device that’s there for the screen and audio, and to put as much AI on the device as possible.” (via Joe Rogan Experience Podcast)

STOP Typing AND START Speaking Using my phone for typing felt second nature until I discovered a new way. With Typeless | Typeless on Android, I just speak, and my words transform instantly into polished text. It's among the pioneering voice keyboards on Android that genuinely grasps conversational speech. Typeless seamlessly integrates with WhatsApp, Slack, emails, Notes, and even ChatGPT. I simply speak, and Typeless handles everything else. Here’s what impressed me 👇 - Automatically filters out fillers like “um” and “uh” - Eliminates redundancy for succinct text - Recognizes mid-sentence corrections - Converts spoken ideas into neat, structured text - Tailors tone to match each app - Supports over 100 languages, including mixed language input - Adapts to your writing style over time - Allows custom vocabulary with a personal dictionary A standout feature: complete privacy with no data storage or external data training. Everything stays on your device. For mobile, it genuinely feels quicker than traditional typing. If your phone is your writing hub, give this a shot. Download the Android app: Available on Android, iOS, Mac, and Windows: #WorkSmarter #ProductivityTools #VoiceTyping #Typeless

BOOMI MY NEW GROK DEVICE! I HAVE Grok ON AN OLD APPLE WATCH MADE IN TO A RETRO IPOD! Still working on it but my goal to have a remote single purpose Grok device has been achieved! With the benefits of posting my grifter slop on to X from this device also (that is another article). And a minimal phone. So how did I do it? First I got this IPod converter kit: it is a beautiful device to hold made of Aluminum. Second I got this app: “Ask Watch AI” it has a free version. Third I got my XAI Grok API Key: Toss a few bucks in the account to fund it. Finally I set up the system by answering questions. This is my first run. I am coding an app for the Apple Watch that will be easier than pressing “done”. I will write a full article on it as soon as I get it done. My goal is to use the cell plan on this Apple Watch and to have a minimal phone and Grok device. Soon these devices will be sent to Starlink. With full Grok Bot and Grok Build. No need for an OS or an App. Obviously this is an Apple Watch but soon it will be a device like this of course with a camera too.

At CES 2026, Corsair introduced the GALLEON 100 SD. Beyond looking cool, its real value is actually very clear: it rethinks what a keyboard should be on a modern desk. Instead of simply attaching a Stream Deck to a keyboard, Corsair recognized that for gamers, streamers, and creators, the keyboard is the place where hands stay the longest and actions are most consistent. By bringing high-frequency controls, visual feedback, and shortcuts into that central input area through screens, dials, and lighting, it reduces context switching and friction. This isn’t a flashy gimmick, but a design that directly responds to how heavy users actually work and play.
