Just perfect. Julia Mackenzie is such a star. Unfortunately, Wogan who was great on the radio, was the worst at interviewing the cast and Sondheim. Almost cringeworthy.

Television joy this evening

Utter bliss!

A very great Sondheim artist. Her fabulous diction lets the audience hear every word of the lyrics. I saw her in the revue 'Side by Side by Sondheim' and as Miss Adelaide in 'Guys and Dolls'. Unknown to me at the time, I saw her in the chorus of 'Mame'.

Thank you. I saw her in the late 80s(!) appearing in this. Timeless.
