This lady ordered her food through DoorDash and when the order is placed the food is prepped for the driver, however the driver took 25 minutes to pick up the food and when she received it it was cold so she took it back to Wendy’s for a replacement and the manager agreed and was going to fix it for her until she started knocking on the counter demanding extra food for her trouble to come back, the manager took exception to her behavior and threw the food in the trash and told her to take it up with DoorDash, after all it was DoorDash’s mistake and they do have remedies for this type of thing, he was just being accommodating, when this didn’t work out for her she snatched another customer’s food and took off out the door.

It was a normal day for this Uber driver. He’s been picking up and dropping off people all day. Everything was going fine for him until he picks up this woman. Off the bat he says she seemed a little weird and spaced out. He was talking to a friend on a hands free headset when she stated that she felt unsafe with him in the car. This customer claims her fries container wasn’t full even after the worker showed her they were, she keeps sitting there at the window demanding they constantly remake her fries after several remakes already. I get irritated when people go out to regular restaurants acting expecting to get the service of a five star restaurant. It’s fast food, the point of it is for people to get their food quick and easy so they can go about their day. The way I see it is if the worker already showed her that the amount of fries is accurate, there shouldn’t be any issue at all, it doesn’t make sense to me. I also get irritated when the customer who is in the wrong, demands to speak to corporate or the owner, acting like the outcome would be any different. Corporate and the owner have more important things to do than to worry about someone who is being rude to the workers all over an order of French fries. I’ve seen this firsthand, they act like they spent hundreds of dollars in some gourmet meal, they need to just get over it and let the workers do their jobs.
