According to eyewitnesses, the driver failed to stop after hitting the rider. Hon. Agyapong, who arrived at the scene moments later and discovered the lifeless body of the victim, immediately initiated a chase. The former Member of Parliament and his team eventually intercepted the fleeing driver and handed him over to the police for further investigation.
