Kinesins are motor proteins that move along microtubule filaments in eukaryotic cells. They are called "motors" because they convert chemical energy into mechanical energy, or force and motion. Kinesins use the energy of ATP hydrolysis for their enzymatic processes.

even my proteins carry a huge load on their "shoulders" non stop, no wonder I, as a whole, feel tired all the time 😁
