So... when businesses continue to harvest seaweed, doesn't this upset the ecosystem which depend on seaweeds? Aren't the effects similar to those which result from "deforestation"??? Don't the seaweed help to decarbonise the sea water, to oxygenate it??

Many women I see and speak to have been refused HRT for no medical reason. They have often been prescribed other medication to try and improve their menopausal symptoms including antidepressants, painkillers, sleeping tablets, anti hypertensives and statins. I have also seen women who have been given gabapentin, quetiapine and also ketamine for their low moods associated with their menopause. Our study has just been published in Menopause journal which is a peer reviewed academic journal. This study is based in clinical data from over 1,500 women who were perimenopausal or menopausal. It showed that absorption of oestradiol through the skin through a patch or gel really varies with around a quarter of women requiring higher doses of oestradiol to absorb adequate amounts through their skin. Almost one in three women using standard doses of oestradiol had low levels of oestradiol in their blood. There has been so much confusion in recent months about doses of oestradiol which has led to many women being told to reduce their dose or even stop HRT. However this study highlights the importance of having the right dose for the right person as absorption can really vary between women. One of the viewers who phoned in was a 39-year-old woman experiencing hot flushes and anxiety, wondering if it could be menopause causing her symptoms. Although hot flushes can occur during perimenopause and menopause, symptoms affecting our brains are actually usually more common. In fact, 98% of women we see in our Newson Health clinic report symptoms affecting the brain - such as brain fog, poor memory, fatigue, irritability and mood changes. The announcement comes after German newspaper Bild reported on the bizarre accusation.
