The lovely lighting mechanism on The Havelock Bridge, also known as the Old Godavari Bridge in Rajahmundry! It is a historic, decommissioned railway bridge built in 1900, famous for its stone masonry and steel girders, serving as a key part of the Howrah-Madras line before being replaced by the newer Godavari Arch Bridge that can be seen in the background. It's now planned for development as a heritage tourism spot. It's about a duo of alien rappers that crashed their ship and must find its pieces, through free exploration. Inspired by Rogue, it's often compared to Roguelikes. Was met positively and re-released on Nintendo Classics service (Switch) in 2021.

🐠 Fishing has been screwed by #Brexit but so have 🇬🇧 people, we now rely on imported fish from Russia, which isn’t as fresh or good and a huge blow to food security. “Since Brexit we've lost half the quota, we've had to lose half the crews and half the earnings have gone now.” Some of the guys that was working on board the ships have had to go and find other jobs elsewhere. With no help from anybody, no government help or anything. If we'd have been kept in the EU we'd have been a lot better off. But a lot of the fishing was conned in my opinion, by the govt saying vote for us and you'll do better with us and they've done worse, they've got nothing now.”

The Ferrari F40, is the legendary supercar produced between 1987 and 1992 and the last model personally approved by Enzo Ferrari. Powered by a twin-turbocharged 2.9-litre V8 producing around 478 horsepower, it was designed as a no compromise road car with Formula 1 inspired aerodynamics, a lightweight composite body, and minimal interior comforts. With a top speed of over 200 mph and razor-sharp handling, the F40 remains one of the most raw, pure, and emotionally charged Ferraris ever built.

One of the miniatures—complete with servo-operated engines and working lights—was the Onyx Cinder, built by John Goodson and Supervised by John Knoll and our ILM Miniature Unit. Not only was it used for in-camera finals, but it also informed our digital model, providing a seamless blend between the two. The world’s tallest railway pier bridge is rising in Manipur! From the hills of Manipur, Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji’s vision for last-mile connectivity is taking shape. The Noney Bridge -141m high and 703m long, is being built at a cost of ₹650 crore as part of the ₹21,885 crore Jiribam–Imphal railway line. The bridge is expected to be completed by March 2026, and the entire line by December 2028. As part of my 3-day visit to Manipur, I toured Noney district, reviewed project progress with DC Sharath Chandra ji, IAS, and senior officials from various departments. Once completed, this project will firmly place Manipur on India’s railway map, transforming connectivity and accessibility across the region - a true reflection of Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi ji’s vision to take development to every corner of the nation.

We asked James Wang why Cerebras can run large models so quickly. His answer: Inference speed is mostly a memory problem. Instead of constantly pulling weights from external memory, Cerebras splits the model across multiple wafers and pipelines the layers together. “Inference is all about memory bandwidth.” “You don’t want to store weights external to the wafer, because the second it’s outside, it becomes much slower.” “We put the weights on the inside.” “The team built a new software stack that basically lets us split the models by layer and store them layer by layer across multiple wafers.” “That allows us to never have to read from external memory, and that’s what makes it so fast.” “For context, Claude is about 100 tokens per second.”

On the left is a visualization of the neural net firing in real time. Built with Claude, Three.js, and WebGPU and using JAX from Google DeepMind. I’m piping the neuron activation into Ableton as MIDI to trigger Serum 2.

No traditional training. Just take the physical wiring of a biological brain and simulate it in a computer. The wiring itself may contain much more of the brain’s “code” than we thought. From tens of thousands of neurons in a fly → millions in a mouse → ~86 billion in a human. MotionGPT: Human Motion as a Foreign Language paper page: Though the advancement of pre-trained large language models unfolds, the exploration of building a unified model for language and other multi-modal data, such as motion, remains challenging and untouched so far. Fortunately, human motion displays a semantic coupling akin to human language, often perceived as a form of body language. By fusing language data with large-scale motion models, motion-language pre-training that can enhance the performance of motion-related tasks becomes feasible. Driven by this insight, we propose MotionGPT, a unified, versatile, and user-friendly motion-language model to handle multiple motion-relevant tasks. Specifically, we employ the discrete vector quantization for human motion and transfer 3D motion into motion tokens, similar to the generation process of word tokens. Building upon this "motion vocabulary", we perform language modeling on both motion and text in a unified manner, treating human motion as a specific language. Moreover, inspired by prompt learning, we pre-train MotionGPT with a mixture of motion-language data and fine-tune it on prompt-based question-and-answer tasks. Extensive experiments demonstrate that MotionGPT achieves state-of-the-art performances on multiple motion tasks including text-driven motion generation, motion captioning, motion prediction, and motion in-between.
