Aerobics and calisthenics are not as popular as they once were. Back in the day, it seemed everyone had some sort of videotaped workout that they were doing in the comfort of their home, many times using little to no equipment. Now people love their weights and gym memberships, or keep n shape via spin class, but there's a few gems from the time before we can't shake. Case in point: Tony Britts' old appearances on BBC giving short fitness regimens. While Britts made his name in the 1980s, he's returned into popular culture via BBC's archive account where they've been reposting some of his appearances, framed for quarantine. Originally, his segment was called Twice as Fit, and audiences (onscreen and off) watched him move and contort his body in a series of dance moves while wearing short running short and mesh tops. Britts, born Anthony Menson Amuah, died in 1988 of AIDS-related complications according to I-D. Still, his legacy lives on in these clips, which we've found ourselves recreating over the past few days.
