Making reels or dancing inside temples and within temple premises should be strictly prohibited, irrespective of who is doing it. Temples are places of worship, not content creation studios. The govt and temple authorities must take stringent action against those who disrespect the sanctity of these sacred spaces. But this is also the responsibility of parents. Basic etiquette and respect for our places of worship must be taught at home. We cannot blame children alone if parents fail to instill these values. If we don’t respect our own temples and deities, who will?

Dear IPS Association This is the current SP of Churachandpur sometime back in the same town, trying to explain the rules of the law to the #Kukis. How brave and articulate! Such a fine IPS officer that we must all be proud of. Instead, there is a campaign to malign him by sections of Kuki communities. We should condemn all those who are indulging in such propaganda. And the law must take its course when it comes to organizations like ITLF which increasingly think and behave like they are the law unto themselves. Same for those who are threatening harm to the IPS officer - already his official residence has been burnt and his office ransacked. See videos. ▪️It is an absolute outrage that a person who has just been appointed by the govt in a legally, electorally and constitutionally sensitive and critical position that will advise/decide Indian democracy and its future is at his very private wedding nuptials seen dining with and is being toasted by alleged fugitives from Indian law - Lalit Modi and Moin Qureshi. ▪️These are Individuals against whom Govt/Enforcement Directorate has live prosecutions and/or investigations to probe alleged money laundering and/or foreign exchange violations. ▪️A close friend of multiple fugitives running from the law of our land can’t possibly be driving the fate of our democracy. Beginning with President George Washington, who directed prosecutions regarding the Whiskey Rebellion, Presidents have this authority and have exercised it. My op-ed below has several examples on Presidents (Jefferson, Teddy Roosevelt, Reagan) doing just that. The critics are gaslighting when they claim this is political retribution. It is not - It's holding people accountable who have weaponized the law, abused their office, or broken the law. No one is above the law. Such conduct is irreconcilable with the conditions of bail and demonstrates the applicant’s capacity to raise organised resistance at any moment.
