My dad is 90 years old. Early stage dimentia and a cancer survivor. It’s a struggle to say the least until the Cubs game comes on. He is clear as a bell and a different person for those few hours. They don’t care about the fans

The Owners will definitely lockout the players on Dec 1st. You’re 💯 right. Cant miss ANY GAMES!

Man you got me fired up Kap. Spot on.

Get back in the hot tub and relax

The average fan like me can’t even watch on tv anymore. Blackouts, networks for certain teams. I’m starting to not care.

The Owners response:

The players are the greedy ones who don’t want a salary cap for the sake of the competitive nature of the league as a whole.

You don't want a salary cap? Think it's cool for some teams to have like 5x the salary of others?

The problem is the players don't trust the owners or believe anything they say about finances. How do you fix that?

Salary cap is long overdue. This system of haves and have-nots is beyond disgraceful. I don’t care if they shut down MLB for years. I’m even fine with replacement players if needed. But things need to change. The current system is utter garbage.

Do you want your salary to be capped? And, add in that your boss is making BIG money.

Also, I don’t work in an industry where some of my larger competitors have exclusive territorial rights that don’t subject them to more competition relative to their market size and therefore put my employer at a disadvantage

I used to live in Sarasota, Florida and I went to White Sox spring training games a lot when I was a boy. Then when I moved to Chicago, I went to both White Sox and Cubs games several times a year. And then in 1994 the greedy bastards went on strike, and there was no World Series. They stole the World Series. Even Hitler could not stop the World Series so I have not been back to a major league ballpark since. I go to minor league games occasionally, but I won’t go to a major league game until all the owners die. And by the way, if you haven’t been to a minor league game lately, it’s a lot of fun. Great seats are cheap, they usually have really good concessions, the kids play really hard cause they’re trying to make it to the bigs, and they stick around the sign autographs until they are no kids left

Blah blah blah....I old enough to remember when you might have been relevant.

They’re going to take prime PCA at bats away🥹

Should be talking to the players too. Shits broken. There needs to be a cap. Period

We knew they were all greedy fucks when they decided to ruin the uniforms by allowing sponsor patches on the jersey and helmet. Now the MLB looks like some cheap south American league. Patches shouldn't be on the players at all! Same goes for the NHL, NCAA, and NBA.

I’m here for Kommie Kap. ♥️

We need a cap asap…and yes the billionaires are greedy ur how u think they become billionaires? Leave the billionars alone in the matter u goof. Go cubs

It will be classic to hear Kap when the Dodgers superteam knocks the Cubs out of the playoffs with their 1 billion dollar payroll. Amirite @WaddleandSilvy

Well said Kap take that

didn’t even mention the kids, who will lose the sport they love for a year during the best time of their life to be a baseball fan

Can’t wait until you’re off the radio in the morning. Such a turd.

How does this old wrinkly dude with fake outrage keep getting onto my for you tab? So you’re mad at both the players and the owners? Great. How about you pick a side, have a point, and put a shirt on? Gross

MLB is the only league without a cap. Should have been done a ling time ago

Thank u kap I’m with u on everything u said about both sides

This is so real.

Preach, Kap!

Preach brother Kap!!!

Well said Kap.

Federal government should threaten @mlb with removing their antitrust exemption if they don't start on time.

Go take a nap grandpa, fuck the greedy players. We need a salary floor and cap. #takethat

“ . . . the average fan who comes home from his moribund job. . . .” That sounds a bit snobby, especially after saying “I played golf today.” Real man of the people.

I LOVE the Kap Man @xjhoodespn

Tell em Kap !!

@RyanMcGuffey Amen!

Would’ve preferred this from the jacuzzi.
