The Empire State Building proposal is a cool and romantic stunt. The problem is not the act itself, but the unrealistic expectations it creates in women. When social media and culture push grand romantic gestures as the bare minimum, many women begin to believe that if a man does not perform something extraordinary, he does not truly love them. Normal relationships then feel like failure. Men cannot and should not be expected to climb buildings to prove their love. In a recent interview, Sam Altman admitted something many still call sci-fi: far more people want emotional connection and companionship from AI than OpenAI expected. Not just tools. Something warm. The conversation is complicated. Things are not as simple as we hope or want them to be. We are all saddened, frightened and furious about everything. SO much is on the line; people’s lives, everywhere, are on the line. There are people that want to condemn reality, rather than working from within any opposition to change it. To make it safer. The system(s) we have in this world are far beyond flawed. And yet, through horrid strife, unimaginable violence and suffering, and terrible, terrible mistakes, America still, somehow, remains a country that people can hope to be free in. That is worth something. That is worth voting for.

OT6, y’all have lost the plot. This is an app. Mass-reporting someone’s account is against X’s rules, and K-pop fan wars are never that serious. You don’t see OT7 mass-reporting people just because they disagree with their opinions. On this app, it’s okay for people to have different views. At the end of the day, everyone is going to keep their own opinions, and that’s completely normal because people can think for themselves. So can we please regain the plot? This is supposed to be a space for discussion, not a reason to try and get someone’s account taken down over fan wars.

It's deeply concerning that anti-Jewish protests are being organised during a time when the Jewish community is mourning the greatest loss of life since the Holocaust. People who are out supporting leaders of terrorist organisations, should be held to account and should be condemned for their actions. This is an anniversary of 1,200 people losing their lives, and that's why these protests shouldn't go ahead.

These are local residents of the small Ukrainian village of Oleksiyevo-Druzhkivka in the Donetsk region, which lives practically on the front line.
