On July 19, 2021, a Cessna 180 was involved in an accident during a takeoff attempt from a rough field near Brenham, Texas. The pilot had previously landed short of the runway due to fuel exhaustion and refueled the aircraft with fuel purchased from a landowner. The pilot then attempted a downhill takeoff from the rough terrain.
