Officers were called at 15.49 yesterday (9 January) to reports of an assault with weapons. No injuries have been reported. A short while later another call was made reporting a road traffic collision between a Mitsubishi Shogun and Audi RS6 at the junction of Dudley Hill Road and Harrogate Road. Bradford CID are investigating and are treating the incident as a targeted attack. The victim has been safeguarded.

My inquiries with Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA) indicate that the road has been earmarked for re-carpeting, and that the contractor is currently at 3rd Parklands Avenue moving towards it. The delay is inordinate, and there is urgent need now than ever before, to complete the repair of the dilapidated road.
