They used mathematical optimization to turn that one demonstration into a library of different running movements for the robot to learn from. After training, the G1 reached speeds of up to 3.3 m/s and could run outdoors while avoiding obstacles.

Edward Warchocki, Poland's viral humanoid robot, showed up at an apiary in full beekeeper gear - hat, veil, gloves - and the footage that followed turned into one of the funniest robot clips online this year. It stumbled through the grass, knocked into a hive, nearly toppled over more than once, and at one point appeared to make a run for it, clearly done with the bees, before its handler caught it and walked it back in. Humanoid robots are being trained for warehouses and battlefields. This one just proved they still can't out-maneuver an actual insect

The robot was given the dharma name ‘Gabi’ as it attended a ceremony dressed in traditional Buddhist robes and a kasaya, joining monks in prayer with its palms pressed together in the courtyard of Daeungjeon Hall at Jogyesa Temple. The “sugye” ceremony is a Buddhist ritual in which participants pledge devotion to Buddha.
