A strong cold front will move across South-Central Texas later this afternoon and evening, reaching the Hill Country around 3-4 PM, Interstate 10 by about 6-7 PM, and pushing into South Texas by about 8-9 PM. Strong winds and much colder air will arrive behind the front. #txwx

Tyagi brothers will arrive in Delhi today. Their today’s schedule will be as follows: 1. They will land at IGI Airport Delhi at 11 AM. 2. They will reach Jantar Mantar at 12 PM and address the gathering. 3. At 2 PM, they will meet JP Nadda at Sansad Bhawan and present the protestors’ demands before him. 4. At 6 PM, they will come back to Jantar Mantar and update the protestors about the discussions held in today’s meeting. 5. At 8 PM, they will go to Ashoka Hotel and have dinner there.

⛈️ Heavy rainfall and flooding threat from South Texas to the lower Mississippi Valley A multi-day episode of heavy rain will be driven by the interaction of a nearly stationary cold front, tropical moisture, and a tropical disturbance. The tropical disturbance is currently located over Mexico and will gradually move toward South Texas. According to the NHC/NOAA, the chance that it will organize into a tropical cyclone remains low, around 30%. Regardless of whether a tropical cyclone actually forms, the system may bring intense showers and thunderstorms along the western and central Gulf Coast. Over the next four days, widespread rainfall totals of 4 to 6 inches are expected from the Texas coast into Louisiana, with locally higher amounts possible. Such rainfall totals could trigger flash and river flooding, posing a significant threat to life and property. ⚠️ Please monitor official warnings and follow the instructions of local authorities.
