A student pilot experiences his first fully developed spin during emergency maneuver training with an aerobatic instructor. Having only practiced incipient spins before, he entered the spin at 6,700 ft, started recovery at 4,500 feet using the Beggs-Mueller method, and leveled out safely at 3,200 ft. 📹: coryjeacocke

Beggs-Mueller recovery from a full developed spin, level at 3,200 ft. I love seeing spin training done right. Solid airmanship.

Bringing back memories of spin training. Long time ago. Was fascinated by it.

Am I seeing this wrong or did he stop the engine too? I always wonder what if the plane is going straight down like a screw, not like a spiral spin, would the opposite rudder work? It wouldn't! Because it's a straight nose dive and roll spin. Perhaps opposite aileron needed
